    Presidential Election 2020

What's your point? I hope that your point is that income and wealth redistribution to wealthy = good and income and wealth redistribution to poor and working class = bad, because that seems to be the trend of your remarks. You asked a question and then simply criticized the response with convoluted logic. Why not throw out one of the conservative proposals to decrease wealth disparity or homelessness or to improve access to healthcare for similar treatmentand discussion?

    Presidential Election 2020

Good point. I would be interested in what he thinks might work to address some of these social issues. It's relatively easy to be a naysayer. That has been the position of congressional Republicans since 2010. Let's hear some ideas from our conservative friends.

Sure. You are entitled to your opinion, which is clearly influenced by the GOP narrative seeking to describe such ideas in the most pessimistic and unflattering light. What is the conservative plan? Does it also include redistribution of wealth?

    Media behaving badly

What happened? Was it improper for Todd to express his editorial opinion in the monologue? Did he misbehave in some way as a journalist? More likely, this is simply an article about the entertainment value of social media opinion threads. Maybe you could clarify which media behaved badly.

I'm surprised that you haven't heard them. Tax reform. UBI. Single payer health care. Free public education. Employee chosen corporate board members. Improved and expanded infrastructure. Those are a number of the "liberal" proposals which would serve to decrease income and wealth disparity. I'm sure I could come up with a few more if I Googled it.

I didn't say your claim was fact less.

    Presidential Election 2020

Flying fact less claims are more effective strategies for Trump supporters.

Yes, Trump can win with those numbers. The GOP held states will suppress opposition voting and Trump will seek help from his foreign friends. It is doable for a charlatan.

    The President Donald Trump Thread

Trump lives in a delusion. He seriously cannot discern reality from his fantasy world maintained by his sycophants to appease his mentally ill need to always be winning and right. Listening to and watching the clips of the Stephanopoulos interview makes me wonder how anyone can be comfortable wih the fellow's intellect, cognitive abilities, and disregard for our laws. How can you respect GOP politicians who make excuses for him?

    Media behaving badly

Trump's Fox and Friends interview condensed 2.5 minutes The hosts are getting more practiced at looking less uncomfortable and fidgety. I watched/listened to most of the total content but thought I'd just offer highlights here.

    The President Donald Trump Thread

In the era of Trump it becomes more evident that liberal political leadership in Congress are as preoccupied with politics as conservatives seem with protecting Trump. While the constitution clearly outlines the responsibility of the House when faced with a corrupt president and Mueller gave them the road map of impeachment, they are MORE concerned with politics than with the law or the constitution. Their political risk matters more than their duty to the constitution apparently. The House should not be concerned with what the Senate may or may not do relative to impeachment. The House (the PEOPLE) holds the power of impeachment.

The Projector in Chief My spouse first worked as a nurse in psych and we have both noticed and spoken about Trump's use of projection. I wonder at what point in his life Trump began using that maladaptive strategy, because it's not new with his venture into politics. It is odd that his supporters can't discern it.

Most of that is projection. Trump loves projection. Pretty much anything Trump accuses other people of engaging in is what he is or was already doing.

Trump Chat.org I came across this opportunity to chat about Trump while perusing YouTube this morning. It appears that conservatives have created another safe ideological bubble for those who feel uncomfortable stepping into the real world where people pay attention to the disqualifying incompetence and corruption of the Trump administration and talk about it.
