    Fentanyl used for executions?

Drug company lawsuit stalls Nevada inmate's opioid execution - BBC News What do you think of Fentanyl being used for executions? I had it once during a carpal tunnel surgery. I was totally euphoric in spite of what a horrible, claustrophobic experience I was having at the time. Of course later I barfed my brains out... I am moderately opposed to capital punishment. With all the state funded appeals, the slim chance of a mistake, the media circus, the expense, plus the criticism by the BBC, why bother? But if we are going to continue with it, this seems like a humane option.
  3. I'm a landlady and currently in the process of sorting through prospective tenants. The first thing I do is look through person up on Facebook and the state court website. I had a very personable email from a nice sounding gal. Unfortunately, she had a felony from 2009 listed on the court site. Her Facebook public posts are littered with obnoxious political posts, in her case bashing Trump and trumpeting abortion rights, and other liberal causes. I wrote her back asking for an explanation regarding the felony, and also advising her to make her public Facebook more neutral, that it might offend more conservative landlords and prospective employers as well. She didn't bother to reply and I rechecked the Facebook to see if she changed anything. No she didn't. She also had a post on there about her growing desperation to find a new place. It's a landlord's market right now, I have many fine applicants for this nice house, and a below market rent. I'm proud to say my last 2 tenants have moved because of being able to buy their own houses. So, yes, you have a right to shrill commentary on Facebook. But, be aware that A) Your slacktivism is most likely useless and B) your opinionated posts might hurt you. So, stick to cute pet videos.
  4. 'Bouncing breasts' harassment nurse Aaron Kibaja is struck off - BBC News What is disturbing about the article is that a couple of his victims didn't feel free to complain, one because she was newly qualified. He actually pulled a fire alarm in order to see a coworker's breasts bounce! With more and more men in nursing , lateral sexual harassment must be becoming more common.

I think coworker is in witness protection program

Well, he might very well be FOS. I like the guy, but he is a dramatic fellow!

I think coworker is in witness protection program

According to this article, the witness is only given financial help for a limited period of time while they get established for their new life. What Happens When You Enter the Witness Protection Program? Most of these people were arrested and did this to get out of a prison term.

I think coworker is in witness protection program

Incidentally, this would have happened 30 years ago at least, probably in the 80s based on my coworkers stories from his wild youth, rolling in money, living the high life, and running his boat down to Central and South America. I remember now that he is my age, so probably around 60. Most likely the kingpins are dead at this point. But, feel free to worry about my speculation leading to disaster and ruin,

I think coworker is in witness protection program

Lol, Hppy's post made me laugh. No, I'm not conducting an investigation. It's not a crime to think someone is in the witness protection program. You're too funny. :D I also doubt the Russians, or the drug cartel, are monitoring AN for clues as to whether someone in the the witnesses protection program might be working in healthcare. :roflmao:

You should learn how to spell ridiculous.
  11. I work with a CNA who I believe is in the witness protection program. He's in his late 50s, and has spoken about how he 'can't believe he ended up' in the small town where he lives. He talks about his younger days when he had 'a lot of money, a big boat' . He lived in Southern California and made frequent trips to Central America, he has divulged. His wife is from Central America. I figured from his ramblings that he was involved in drug running when he was younger. Yesterday it dawned on me that he might be in the witness protection program! He never has had an explanation as to how he ended up where he lives, which a small town in an agricultural area.

Your Period and Its Spiritual Significance

I sailed through menopause fortunately. I never had problems, but found periods to be a messy hassle. If I had a dollar for every pair of underpants I ruined, I'd be rich! So glad to be done with them. I'm wiser and more spiritual now too. Menopause rocks!!!

    Eclipse Eyeglasses

I got some cheap eclipse glasses from our local hospital. I'm going to head down to Oregon to view the eclipse. Now I'm reading that some of these cheap eyeglasses aren't any good. What do you think? What do you know?

    Nurses Who Kill!

My latest Netflix binge series is 'Nurses Who Kill'. This is a British series. It examines notorious cases of nurses who kill in the line of their work. It has a lot of dramatic re-creations that are a bit unrealistic, well quite unrealistic, with extra large syringes and needles that are used to administer the killing medications. It's not the best the BBC has to offer by any means. Nevertheless I am going to finish the series. I expect time and a half pay for this effort on my part.
