    Weight Watchers

I originally posted this post, I am doing Weight Watchers again, increasing my protein, and increasing fruits and vegi's. My blood sugar has been equalized and I feel really good. As for the emotional eating, I have curbed it because I am eating better so I don't feel as hungry after work. I am walking the dog after work rather then sitting in front of the tv and eating my face off! Exercising is definitely helping my anxiety and depression which is always underlying. Thanks for all the comments, I am on the right track and feeling good!:)

    Tips for Stress Eater

Hi Everyone, I have been a nurse almost 6 years, I really like my current job but still feel a lot of pressure and stress at times. I come home from work in the afternoon and if I feel a little stressed and a little hungry and I could eat the whole pantry. What do can I do to avoid the feeling that I need to eat everything in site?

    Weight Watchers

Has anyone lost weight on weight watchers and kept it off? I seem to start out really well on the plan and then lose motivation. I have lost 20-30 lbs but then the second I go off weight watchers I gain it all back. I want to know if anyone out there has a better way to lose weight and keep it off? I know it's a lifestyle change but I always seem to fall back into old habits of emotional eating and stress eating. I lost a chronic pt today and came home and ate brownies and ice cream. Any advice would be helpful, I want to lose weight and be a role model for my patients.
  6. Anybody hear of GENETICS, not everyone is thin and beautiful by nature!! Including healthcare professionals!! We promote wellness but it doesn't mean we are the poster-children for health, working 24/7, 12 hour shifts, even 8 hour shifts, no time for a break!! It's not always convience to just pick up a salad, sometimes a slice of pizza is all that's available! Just my 2 cents....... :angryfire
