    Accelerated nursing/relationshp breakup

this thread has almost been a year but I will say this: My advice to everyone out there...if things are going sour and you are not feeling it..cut the person off. I was so much relieved after cutting this person off in February. I almost had to threaten a restraining order lol. I just started an accelerated nursing program, and I really wouldn't date anyone..maybe casually. You have to spend time on the books and clinicals. You don't need anyone needy, clingly, or getting in the way that is going to cause stress. This is really intense and you can't take any exam lightly.

    Accelerated nursing/relationshp breakup

how would i have one foot out of the door already? i obviously am her boyfriend for a reason and i care and respect her, but sadly i'm not ruling out a destroyed relationship and the demise of a relationship because of this. i was already warned that this can happen and i need to stay focused.

    She wants the attention.
  6. I am going to be entering Accelerated Nursing soon. I am worried this will destroy our relationship. My girlfriend and I have a great relationship and she is very needy and strives for attention (which I have no problem with). I have a gut feeling this will destroy our relationship because I can't give her the time possibly during weekdays and even weekends due to studying sometimes and doing clinicals. We really are attached to each other and she knows that I have to sacrifice my full time job to make a career change. Should I break up with her now? or should I wait to see what happens and if she can accept my career decision?
