    Jussie Smollett

It hurt me to write this topic. How can someone lie about being abused? I can not believe anyone will lie about being a victim of a hate crime and self-inflict himself. I hope he did not make this up. Unfortunately, all the evidence support him orchestrating this attack. Resources that should have been used on real victims was used on him and this "crime". He is still claiming to be a victim. I actually respected him prior to this revelation I thought he was going to be the Harry Belafonte for his generation. Instead of using his platform to help us heal as a country he further divided this country. He blamed Trump and his supporters and accused them of doing something that they did not. He garner international sympathy, which was not deserved nor earned. As a nurse who actually worked with abuse victims in the LGBTQ+ community, it hurts anyone will be that callous and calculating. With the racial divide history of this country, he allowed someone to place a noose around his neck. I actually feel he need help if he capable of doing all this for attention and more money

  3. As healthcare professionals, we know the effects of blaming any victim of any sexual misconduct. However, as I watch Cuomo Prime Time one of the guests is Kelly- Anne Conway she is actually blaming the victim of a sexual assault. This is one of the main reasons why victims of sexual assault do not want to come forward. The treatment this victim is receiving from our elected officials is disgusting. In my opinion, it does not represent this country nor the office they currently hold.

    Name the brand of turkey!!!!!

There is an outbreak of a drug-resistant strain salmonella in raw turkey, but the Government is refusing to name the brand of turkey or farm. This is very dishearting this is one of the few days out the year everyone truly unites. As consumers, we need to be informed of what we are purchasing and make the choice.

    How will history judge us?

How will history judge us? This is the most degrading thing I have ever witnessed in my life. As healthcare professionals, we know the psychological effects of Erik Erikson stages of development, the impairments these camps will cause the children. How can we witness something deplorable and not voice our concern?. These are questions our kids and grandchildren will ask us one day. What did you do when discovered that the federal government placed kids in cages and took them away from their parents? I am urging every healthcare professional to unite and speak the truth to every media outlet and every level of government, airlines, the bus company. Since these kids are in different parts of the state. Before anyone writes anything that I am not a true American, I want to make it clear I love this country. I admire what it stands for, and hope one day it could live up to creed that all men are created equal and endowed to its creator by certain unalienable rights which are "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Thank-you it on the blue side as you predicted. I wished it stayed on the yellow as well.

I know those questions are important asked and answered. Yes, asked out. We are not in any relationship with other people, there are no children. Yes, we have similar interest and still learning about each other. I like to have different people's perspective maybe they write something I never thought about before.
  14. Why is it okay for a few Republicans Senators with NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE 'write” a new bill for health-care? Honestly, this is not right. We the people elect Congress, which is the House of Representatives and the Senate to represent our interest as citizens. However, the people that are currently elected are not representing us. They are holding a 'secret” a.k.a closed door session to write a new healthcare bill. I think we as healthcare professionals need to speak up and say no to the closed-door meeting on the fate of our healthcare in the hands of certain Senators.

This is very true. People are now able to afford their medications, treatments, get a basic checkup, to name a few. This is such a personal fight for me because I am a nurse=I am an advocate.

Republicans Prepare for a Vote on Health Care Next Week - NBC News Republicans Prepare for a Vote on Health Care Next Week by LEIGH ANN CALDWELL, KASIE HUNT and GARRETT HAAKE WASHINGTON — Republicans are preparing for a series of votes next week on a plan to overhaul the nation's health care system. There is no GOP bill yet for the public to see and even rank-and-file Republicans have yet to see any text of legislation. There isn't even an agreement that has leadership confident that they have 50 votes to pass a bill. But the expectation on Capitol Hill is there will be an outline of a proposal as soon as Wednesday, according to two Republican aides, aiming for a vote next week. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been pushing for a vote before June 30th, the beginning of the one-week July 4th recess. But his lieutenants in leadership drove speculation that a vote could in fact happen in the next two weeks. 'We have 52 Republican Senators all wanting to get to yes to find a solution and I believe we're going to vote before the July 4th recess," Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., the fourth ranking Republican, said on CNBC Monday morning.

    Gift for nurse'sweek

dear mjb2010 , yes, the victim card that is what i play when i attend work........while in continual search for a rn job daily. in addition i attend night classes for my ms. i am really happy you have a job. i agree i find this process gruelling. i have to correct you i never wrote about "argument for letting work run all over you is ridiculous". my point please follow carefully be grateful for what you have.... here is what i typed " i can't believe that some rn's complained about "a lack of gift of a meaningful". at least you guys have jobs. do you know how many new nurses that have a degree and a license would love to be in your position with a job right now? ...you make enough to treat yourself.' again i find that you need a reality check and fact check 9 out of 10 hospitals want rn's with experience...they even write if you have no rn experience do not to apply. at least where i am located ....they are paperless ...meaning you can not go to the hospital and apply.everything is done online ...the most a new nurse could do is email, call, and fax......and i am competing on an international market .....so wake up and welcome to reality ....i even posted 2 articles ......there are more:).
