So much with so little time. Things I have noticed about Ben Shapiro
1. Ben is open about being conservative and does attempt to mask that in any form. Many other forms of media attempt to deny bias, very unsuccessfully.
2. Shapiro has been writing since he was 17 years old and when it is proven his writing are not factual, he will update his writings to include the facts rather than the double down tactic we often see. Just my observation.
I find this to be refreshing. I do not need a chart to discern truth vs. false as far of media or right vs. left-leaning media. Like many of you here, I have been doing this for a while. Discernment is required when reading bias.
The road to cohesiveness and the accomplishment of unity is plausible. We are often times freed to do so when we possess the ability to see each other as individuals. A herd mentality leads to stereotyping each other into the false perceptions of groupthink. "oh, you believe this, so it means, you believe that." We often place each other in a box to discredit one another rather than talking to each other like a human being. Looking at each other as individuals free up conversations to communicate, listen, educate and learn from one another. When someone states to me that "you are not going to change my mind and I am not going to be able to change your mind" I have no desire to talk with them. Such a statement tells me they are not there to have a conversation. They are there to argue or press an agenda. Period. That to me is not a conversation. There is no goal of understanding each other even if the result is to disagree.
The bill of rights protects my individual thoughts and freedoms. True. It is us, the Americans who do not recognize the individual.
My comments about the muller report release were simply to point out that no matter how they handle it, it will never be enough.
For around 2 years there have been 19 lawyers, 40 FBI agents, Intelligence analysis, forensic accountants, 2,800 subpoenas, executed nearly 500 search warrants, 230 orders for communication records, almost 50 orders authorizing use of pen registers, 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence and the interview of approximately 500 witnesses.
It reminds me of the saying that one is too many and a thousand is never enough.
