both of your pollution examples above were clearly an infringement of the peoples rights. there are constitutional laws against such.
republicans or democrats, neither are any "better" they have both lead us down the road to corporatism.
"doesn't seem to stop them them from trying...or politicians from taking donations. but i do agree, in our lifetime we've entered corporatism but god knows you try to fight it and your branded socialist, communist or "get a job and take a bath" and interfering with job creators and over regulating, being envious of success."
or your branded as not caring about the environment, not caring about the poor, and as being in the pockets of the corporations themselves. ?
the "branding" is also not exclusive.
the solutions to the corporatism is where i see the difference between the ideologies. not a political party, but ideologies. yes, there are people who want socialism, there are people who want communism, there are anarchistic. these ideologies are out there among us. i do not see them as a group or party due to the fact i am strongly into the individual. i do not support these ideologies for america. i feel it to be the responsibility of the people to call out the politicians that are moving us in these directions. when i look to the people, instead of the government, i can clearly see many people i have much in common with. as a republican ( a label i refused to wear for many years) i feel it is my responsibility to call out the republicans who are leading us in the wrong direction. the reason i am currently supporting a party had not so much to do with the party, but that when i looked around at the people...the people themselves, i made a decision. i saw people supporting the constitution. i saw people supporting the peoples rule of law. i saw people defending the rights of the individual. i saw people defending the free market. i saw people holding the party accountable for their corporatism. i saw people holding their party accountable for their reckless spending and greed. i saw people holding their party accountable for their corruptions. i only made this decision in recent months to wear this label, and i most likely will change my mind in the future. but for now as a citizen i have chosen to become involved in the caucus, the delegate role and voted on what the party is to represent at the state level. i made this decision to become educated first hand at how the political process works, and if i did not like how it is working, to at least know i have tried. i think both parties have been corrupted and it is up to the people to hold their parties accountable. next month i may have a totally different outlook ..lol
