Agree with what Tait said. Was very, very sick one time, went to be seen. My regular doctor wanted student to do exam. I objected, before, during, or after. She talked over me, insisting that he was a "nursing" student, (knew I was a nurse), rather than the truth, to try to deceive me. I saw the ID tag or asked the med asst., don't remember which. Soon afterwards, I decided to stop seeing that doctor. You have a right to whatever amount of privacy you require at any given point in time. I immediately empathized with your post. You should not have to be going through any degree of embarassment or discomfort because someone in charge of the situation refused to honor your valid wishes.
