  1. I fixed the weird spaces on NSIME's post. We have noticed the font change like in Tweety's post and are still working on it.
  2. I edited the title. I saw it and thought I lost a day somewhere. I hope everyone is having a good day wherever you are.

Climate Change: Coming to Your Hospital Soon

In the grand scheme of time, 62 is a relatively short span of time.
  5. How many of you grew up with Mister Rogers' Neighborhood? Mister Rogers was the cardigan-clad hero of the kids from 1967 to 2001 always going to great lengths to promote the importance of showing kindness to others. He died in 2003. I just saw on the news that Tom Hanks will be playing Mister Rogers in an upcoming film "Mister Rogers Neighborhood". Tom Hanks has played many real-life figure before-Charlie Wilson in "Charlie Wilson's War", Jim Lovell in "Apollo 13", American pilot and hero Chesley Sullenberger, in"Sully", and most recently The Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee in "The Post". Of course, we can't forget his other iconic roles in "Forrest Gump", "Cast Away", "Big", and others. Can you picture Tom as Mister Rogers? How do you think he will do? I can still hear the song...

  8. First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, TX, was the scene of another senseless mass shooting this morning about 11:30 am during the Sunday morning service. At least 27 people have been killed and more than two dozen injured. The shooter took off after the shooting with police officers in pursuit. The gunman was killed after a short chase. It is unclear if the shooter was killed by police or if he took his own life. There are still lots of unknowns about the shooter. A preliminary report was issued earlier this week by the President's Commission of Combatting Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis stating that its "first and most urgent recommendation" is for the president to "declare a national emergency under either the Public Health Service Act of the Stafford Act". This is an amazing statistic!! Something needs to be done. What do you think of the recommendation?
