Yep. You and Herring are correct . Shes a nut bag. And, the tire change appears and sounds like a urban legend. The other stuff, you'll see them how you want, I suppose.

I think there is also a general assumption that in person voting should always be allowed. So, if your going to narrow it down to one method to give a state the best chance of managing the voting method competently, I would go with the method that we've used since the late 1700's. Each person shows up, gets a ballot, turns it in, it gets counted. Not much simpler then that.

Of course, we know, and I know as I was one in college, it doesnt take much and the bar is limbo-like low to be a journalist.

You said the "original poster". That was Tweety. My post included the same source. Sio, not sure what your talking about.

From the article you provided: "Obama likewise has "no interest" in participating in any ceremony as long as Trump is in office, sources told NBC." Frankly, I dont even care if it wasn't mutual. The Democrats and the liberal media have done nothing but try (and failed) to sabotage the Trump presidency. So, all is fair in love and war, as they say. We all know if Obama had been invited and declined he would have received a standing ovation from this crowd. Tradition and bipartisanship would be out the window.

His mistake was verbalizing what he and many Democrats believe. He's sorry he said it, but it does change that he takes black people for granted. They see black people as a voting block that are unable to think independently as individuals. If you cant see how to vote for Biden over Trump, you cant be black.

"More than 600 doctors signed onto a letter sent to President Trump Tuesday pushing him to end the "national shutdown" aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus, calling the widespread state orders keeping businesses closed and kids home from school a "mass casualty incident" with "exponentially growing health consequences." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/doctors-raise-alarm-about-health-effects-of-continued-coronavirus-shutdown

It seems this may be more fake news. "I don't know who she is but they gave me an email that she sent to her supervisor, said that, 'Uh-oh, I may have said something that was misrepresented,'" DeSantis said, adding Jones went on to write that: "I said they've got a team working on it now and what I meant when I said don't expect the same level of accessibility is that they are busy and can't answer every single email they get right away and that it was ridiculous that I managed to do it in the first place and that I was tired and needed a break from working two months straight." https://www.post-gazette.com/news/nation/2020/05/19/Florida-coronavirus-COVID-19-data-scientist-fired-refusing-manipulate-DeSantis/stories/202005190176

I'm not sure why they'd be nervous. I would encourage all to be leery of the WaPo. They may be setting you up, again, for a big disappointment in November. https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/13/politics/cnn-poll-2020/index.html

Those are all fair points. I was one who thought the media hype or "hoax" was in play. And, to some extent I was wrong. I do think both sides are still playing politics, using whatever they can with this to their advantage. Pelosi's "Heros" bill is a fine example. I think your reading this all wrong. You and I both agree we need to safely begin to get the economy going. Obviously, for you its not because you're desperate enough to "risk public health to get Trump re-elected." Most of us want to get things going for the same reasons you do. Not for Trump's sake. He has just as much to lose as to gain, anyway. I also think you've way overestimated any fear there is that Trump is going to lose. Polls keep swinging back and forth. Biden is eventually going to have to emerge from his basement and face his past plagiarism, creepy episodes, rape allegation, political stances, failed campaigns x 2, his apparent worsening dementia, and will have to face Trump in a debate. The thing that a Trump voter fears most is that Biden gets replaced.

" BioScience said: “The Healight technology employs proprietary methods of administering intermittent ultraviolet (UV) A light via a novel endotracheal medical device. Pre-clinical findings indicate the technology’s significant impact on eradicating a wide range of viruses and bacteria, inclusive of coronavirus. The data have been the basis of discussions with the FDA for a near-term path to enable human use for the potential treatment of coronavirus in intubated patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).” https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/apr/26/pharmaceutical-firm-aytu-bioscience-testing-uv-lig/

"While the Department of Health directive may have seemed justifiable at the time, given the extreme circumstances New York was anticipating at the apex of the crisis, the policy has contributed to tragic results. Many New York nursing homes have been ravaged by the pandemic, with more than 5,300 of their residents believed to have died from the outbreak. Critics believe many of those deaths are directly tied to the policy and say the outcome was predictable, given long-standing and well-documented problems at nursing homes. "We all know that nursing homes are seriously understaffed and under-equipped," said Ron Kim, a Democrat in the state Assembly whose Queens district includes nursing homes ravaged by the virus. "It was never their mission to treat COVID-19 patients." https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/Churchill-New-York-s-tragic-nursing-home-mistake-15273400.php
