I don't recall anyone here discussing Trump running for a third term.  I doubt such a discussion exists. Anti Trump propaganda, I suppose.

No, he's actually suggested this.

As in the part if my post you didn't include, I indicated he has.  I don't know many that believe he's serious.

The part of my post you did include was in response to the poster who claims Trump supporters here have discussed the possibility of him having a third term.

Trump-haters seem to always try to take everything he says literally.  In this case, it plays into the narrative that Trump is a dictator along the lines of Putin and Hitler.  Any reasonable person knows that is rediculous, of course.

So, you admit Trump is moron, who spouts gibberish?

Otherwise, it is a fool who doesn't take him at his word.

I think Trumpsters should worry about their leader.

Quinnipiac poll shows 56% of registered voters say Joe Biden would better handle coronavirus crisis.

But I understand propaganda, and how it is intended to work.

😉

I'll add that to the list of reasons Trumpsters should be, but aren't, concerned.

As for anti Trumpers, they should be concerned over the two remaining Democrat candidates and how unlikely either is to take Trump out.

No.  However, it's my fault as I failed to include a pertinent portion of your quote.

I am well aware of Mr. Trump stating he might serve more than 2 terms.  However, your post appears to suggest that he is doing more than bloviating, and is actually supporting or suggesting legislation to allow him to do so.

No.

That is Putin.

I thought that was clear.

There's a story in WaPo about it, and a report on NPR.

Of course, nobody should be surprised.

Putin is a dictator.

Yes. He has.

But I suspect the poster already knows this.

The ploy is used to open a discussion, and to spread the propaganda.

I am fascinated by the parallels between Russian propaganda, and how the Trump campaign operates.

The Russians deny, deny, even in the face of obvious evidence, let's say, when poisoning folks in the UK, then offer up conspiracy theories.

Just like Trumpsters!

Trump explains why he talks about a third term

President Trump said he would accept the results of the 2020 election and that he only jokes about running for a third term because it drives the media crazy...

...   "In fact, I said in a speech recently, 'Watch, we'll drive the media crazy. Let's go for a third term and then a fourth.' And some of the media said, 'He's going to do it,'" Trump said...

Yes, it would have been clear had you stopped here, after discussing Mr. Putin.

I you all caught the latest news regarding Trump's friend, Putin.

Putin is supporting a law that would allow him to serve past 2024.

Hmm.

However, when you continued with this...

Haven't we heard something similar here, in the US?

Maybe a Trumpster could enlighten us!

...your meaning was less clear.

Another spot-on column by True Conservative, Jennifer Rubin.

From today's WaPo:

The Media Is Responsible For Stopping The Spread Of Insanity

They should be since they are the ones spreading the insanity.

It is clear that Trumpsters are very worried about their leader being knocked out.

Hence the propaganda.

And Trumpsters have good reasons to be worried.

Their leader continues to behave like a moron during a crisis.

In case Trumpsters haven't noticed, everyday life in the US is imploding, along with the stock market.

Colleges are closing.

Berea College is closing for the rest of the year, due to coronavirus.

Harvard students must leave campus by Sunday.

And Trump says it's nothing.

In the meantime, the virus continues to spread and people are dying.

Trump has proven himself incapable of true leadership.

No surprise to the majority of Americans who never supported him anyway.

😝😝😝😝😝😝😝

You should read the column.

Rubin spends the bulk of it, discussing your leader's word salads and nonsensical gibberish.

It is that gibberish that she is referring to by using the word insanity.

Yes, the media is culpable when they merely repeat Trump's gibberish, the way Trumpsters do.

She is asking the media to demand that Trump explain his gibberish nonsense.

Although, I doubt he is capable.

The intellectual capacity just isn't there.
