It's actually laughable this isn't being discussed. I mean, what else can you expect of people who are willfully ignorant. Or let me guess, you know about this, but this is a bad thing.

ETA: "willfully ignorant" is being used to describe the MSM.

South Korea's national security advisor Chung Eui-yong revealed during a Thursday evening press conference outside of the White House that during meetings with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un just days before in South Korea, the North Korean leader was eager to meet with Trump."Kim pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests. He understands that the routine joint military exercises between the Republic of Korea and the United States must continue," said Chung.

Praying that we avoid war, killing, and tragedy.

Good for President Trump hoping it works out saving lives.

We have the same ability for tragic destruction and lives ended too soon.

World leaders have refused for years to meet with Kim or his father, because to do so would legitimize that regime, and elevate North Korea to being more than an impoverished nation with a tinpot dictator. And now, our ignorant head of state agrees to meet without any preconditions and thinks his great negotiating power is somehow going assure that North Korea denuclearizes. Fat bloody chance. DJT strikes deals like a school yard bully, " gimme your lunch money kid, and I won't beat you up." Just like Mexico paying for the stupid wall.

If this meeting actually takes place, Kim will stage an elaborate military parade, Trump will think its all for him, and declare Kim his new bestie. Move over Dutarte, Putin, Xi, and Erdogan. DJT loves his autocrats. May he can take of tour of the prison camps in North Korea, and perhaps view some home movies of the execution of Kim's uncle, and the uncle's family.

Lol

We hope that Trump will stumble into peace but acknowledge that he is primarily a fool who believes that he is the first to receive or consider a meeting proposal.

It was cute, though, when he ran to create his television drama with the press pool after getting the invitation.

Wow. You must watch a lot of movies...

Tell me how a meeting would mean "legitimizing the regime"? I think the world has already done that by acknowledging North Korea a country and Kim, as their dictator. That pretty much "legitimizes" the regime. Otherwise, how are we NOT legitimizing the regime? By ignoring them, having them do the same things for decades? To meet to discuss ways to denuclearize the country, effectively, if it happens, makes North Korea less powerful, worldwide. It would have nothing to do with what North Korea does, whether wrong or right, within their own country - i.e. feed their people.

So might denuclearize, but primarily a fool.

It's obvious where the priority lies, sadly enough.

Huh? This makes no sense.

Maybe the translation from Russian is difficult.

My money is on Kim. When it comes to Trump v. Kim, my money will always be on Kim. He is the intelligent one.

I just wonder how long it will take the Bum to say, or Tweet something totally stupid, the way he always does.

I am sure there is book already started in Las Vegas. I wonder what the odds are in favor of Kim.

I will try to respond to this gibberish.

Yes, Trump is a fool on a global political stage. Yes, he could play a fool's role in denuclearization of NK. No that is not the most likely outcome of Trump's hoped for meeting.

Yes, it's quite obvious that Trump's priorities always center on meeting Trump's desires and needs. And on making Trump money. Obviously.

No, actually I don't, unless you include documentaries.

Is this meant as a personal attack?

I read a variety of online news sources. And from what I gather, according to experts, by which I mean past diplomats and scholars on the subject, past presidents have been hesitant to meet with Kim. And what does DJT have to offer in return for denuclearization? I fear he is going to agree to withdraw US troops from South Korea.
