You are reading page 3 of President Trump Plans Meeting to Denuclearize N. Korea. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

Um, unless you have a different definition for it, duckduckgo says whataboutism is a: "fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument"... So uh, yea. You're arguing you are being civil because of hypocrisy by FOX, which isn't logical in the first place, but also deflecting from what Trump is doing by saying that Obama did the same thing, without ever really talking about the actual subject, which is Trump. So, yea, precisely, whataboutism.

Just a list of all the times it has been the other way around:

whatabout

Whatabout

Whatabout

The list goes on and on.

What?

No, I'm laughing at conservative political pundits who are steeping in a hot pot of hypocrisy. There is ample video to clearly demonstrate the hypocrisy.

I am laughing at those who are titillated by the hypocrisy without being aware of the actual hypocrisy. Laughing heartily.

Poor poor Donald Trump. He's never going to be lovedby anyone as much as he loves himself. Poor poor Donald, treated so badly.

Also, I don't read long rants complaining about how a bully has been mistreated written by the bully's sycophant.

- Trump is ostracized for congratulating Putin for winning election, Obama did it in 2012

- Obama sheltered from people undermining him as the President, happens (being undermined) everyday to Trump, including death threats

- The rising economy is instantly credited to Obama, still not sure if it's Trump's economy 18 months later

- Decreasing black (and overall) unemployment is a good thing when Obama is President, not even worth scoffing about under Trump

- Obama deported more illegal aliens than Trump

So I guess you are saying that Trump uses Obama for a role model?

- Hillary calling trump supporters deplorables and black men super-predators is celebrated, Trump calling Hillary nasty is sexist

- KKK supporting Trump makes him racist and a white supremacist, Hillary supporting KKK members makes her admirable

- People accuse Trump of sexual harassment that isn't proven and is called a misogynist, Hillary supporting Bill after lying about ML makes her a champion of women rights

- Obama deported more illegal aliens than Trump, but Trump is racist and against immigration while Obama is praised for DACA

- Trump and GOP supports DACA with modifications (including accepting more than we are now) with a border wall and is ignored, Democrats whine about DACA without doing anything to help them by working with Trump and GOP, but are hailed heroes

- Overwhelming amount of Democrats attack the 2nd Amendment, but don't charge and deport illegal aliens possessing and killing Americans

- Overcome with emotions about Russian interference in the election, gleeful when appointing illegal alien to political seat to oversee Americans

The list goes on and on.

Stick to the topic of the thread.

I'm not naive enough to blow a horn celebrating a denuclearized Korean Peninsula. Past agreements to not seek or develop nuclear weapons have been broken by NK. What happens going forward remains to be seen.

However, this is the first time since the early 1950s that a leader of North Korea has set foot in SK. An agreement to denuclearize the peninsula is a different path than what NK has been following. If all it took was a chance to meet with the US President then I think that's a small price to pay.

I think he'll just find away to mess up a good thing , I can just feel it. If it was any other president going I would not worry but Donald Trump is another story . :sniff:

I want to say something good might happen but my intuition tells me other wise he's gonna find away to mess this up either by saying something offense or doing something stupid .

It's embarrassing to see Trump allow himself to be played and trolled by Kim. It's practically treasonous for Trump to cave into NK's long standing and often repeated demand to meet with a US president, thus handing Kim a massive propaganda victory and entrenching him in power even more firmly.

It's like Trump and his people are unaware that NK has used these exact same tactics in the past, Trump being the only one stupid enough to fall for them.

Kim can NEVER give up his nukes. He saw what happened to Saddam, Gaddafi, and other despots who didn't have nukes. He knows that giving up nukes means the end of his regime.

It has seemed obvious from the beginning that Trump has little or no understanding of the basics of how the US government works, let alone anything about history or international politics and relations. I assume that at least some of his staff must be more knowledgeable, but he apparently doesn't like to be told about stuff he doesn't know.

It appears that DJT is finally coming to the realization that Kim Jong Un has been playing him all along, and the South Korean President has been overly optimistic about denuclearization of the Korean Penninsula.

If something sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.

Bye-bye Nobel Peace Prize. What will you gin up to have your supporters chant at the next rally, Mr. President?
