Those are all fair points.  I was one who thought the media hype or "hoax" was in play.  And, to some extent I was wrong.  I do think both sides are still playing politics, using whatever they can with this to their advantage.  Pelosi's "Heros" bill is a fine example.

I think your reading this all wrong.  You and I both agree we need to safely begin to get the economy going.  Obviously,  for you its not because you're desperate enough to "risk public health to get Trump re-elected."

Most of us want to get things going for the same reasons you do.  Not for Trump's sake.  He has just as much to lose as to gain, anyway.

I also think you've way overestimated any fear there is that Trump is going to lose.  Polls keep swinging back and forth.  Biden is eventually going to have to emerge from his basement and face his past plagiarism,  creepy episodes, rape allegation, political stances, failed campaigns x 2,  his apparent worsening dementia, and will have to face Trump in a debate.

The thing that a Trump voter fears most is that Biden gets replaced.

Wow.

You actually acknowledged the things Trump still needs to address from 2016: Sexual assault(s) allegations, defamation lawsuit, failed businesses and apparent mental illness or dementia, take your pick on that one.

Trump in a debate?

Will he simply follow and stake Biden the way he did Hillary Clinton because if he talks, he says the most moronic things, like: CVirus will disappear!

I don't think I've reading it all wrong.  Trump's son says the Democrats are using social distance and harming the economy for their own gain and that their desire to social distance would disappear in November.  A very ignorant thing to say.  It's dangerous because as we open up the economy clearly with Covid out there we need to continue to social distance.  I'm happy to see that our Republican governor and Trump fan doesn't buy into this attitude but is requiring social distancing as we open up, still not allowing certain businesses like concerts because they can't social distance.

I might be over estimating the fear of Republicans that he is going lose, but there was an article in the Washington Post (yeah I know) reporting that some in the senate and house are preparing themselves that he could lose and are fearful they could be drug down with him if they continue to blindly support him.  I can't link the article as I'm out of views.  New York Times (yeah I know) ran a similar article that Trump is a sinking ship and that they "nervous".  Again, I can't link the article.  Even his lap dog McConnell isn't doing his will to promote his "Obamagate".  (I wonder when rallies open up will the chant be "LOCK HIM UP!"

I agree.  Biden has issues.

I agree post sides are politicizing Corona Virus.  Democrats are not forgiving of Trump's earlier mistakes.  But it seems to be that the Trump's plan is to continue to stroke conspiracy and myth, and make things up.

All that aside, I don't underestimate the power of Trump to rise above the current sentiment against him and you can't deny he's behind.  If the elections were held today, he would clearly lose.  November is a long ways aways and he could rise again and it might be close and he could get the electoral college vote again, especially since his friend here is blocking the voter's decision to allow convicted felons that have done their jail time to vote if they have outstanding court costs.

That might be true but he was having a discussion about Biden and not Trump.  It's not always necessary to change the topic with a tit for tat is it?  Can the poster just state what they think about one topic and have an opinion about. that?

See it as you want, but in return, I can see it as I want.

And here is what I see, Tweety; a poster who has NEVER acknowledged the multitude of charges against his leader, accusing Biden of those same charges.

Kind of like the cheating spouse, who accuses the faithful spouse of cheating.

Deflection.

So, not fit for tat at all.

Merely a statement of fact.

This is shocking, I know. From today's NY Post:

Georgia Department of Health Slammed For Misleading Coronavirus Deaths

I'm just offering my opinion that the discussion was of Biden's issues and what Biden has to overcome.

It's quite easy to deflect back with a "but Trump......", but that doesn't make Biden's issues go away.

Carry on.

Poor Trumpty Dumpty. He can't get no respect!

From today's WaPo:

49 Of 50 Governors Have Better Coronavirus Polling Than Trump

Guess who is the governor with approval rating on CVirus the same as Trump?

Yep.

Brian Kemp from Georgia!

Actually, the discussion was over your remark about Republicans being nervous that Trump is about to drag them down.

Im not accusing him of anything.  These are all things that are out there that will make a difference.

Not everyone is going to turn to Justin Amash.  How's his campaign doing, anyway?  Havent heard much about him from you in awhile.

Comparing me to a cheating spouse?  I'm thankful I dont see the world the way you do.

I wonder why people dont read beyond the headline.  On second thought, I guess we know why then headline writers do this.

Once again, no one is saying the actual disease is a hoax.

"Eric Trump said Democrats would drop their objection to reopening American businesses after the election is over, regardless of the deadly virus."

The next paragraph following the one you quoted:

"And guess what, after Nov. 3, coronavirus will magically all of a sudden go away and disappear and everybody will be able to reopen,” he said.

Lucylu71, I fail to see why you continue to try to gaslight the posters here. It hasn't worked even one time.
