This is the first suicide by healthcare provider I have read about during pandemic.

Surely, there will be others.

From today's NY Times:

Top E.R. Doctor Who Treated Virus Patients Dies By Suicide

Thank you for posting, Chare.

I can only imagine the emotional burdens healthcare workers on the front lines are experiencing.

A nurse from KY recently returned to Lexington, after a 21-day assignment in NYC.

She said she lost more than 21 patients during that time. Many wouldn't last through a single shift.

Some died immediately after arrival at the hospital.

These healthcare providers are going to need a lot of support.

So heartbreaking.

To piggyback on LilNel's post above.

Something tells me his ego won't let him sit out the daily briefings for long.  He wants to be the center of attention.

I'm almost becoming immune to his poor leadership style, but when the President of the United States talks like this and tweets it for hundreds of millions of people around the world, it's still embarrasses me.

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-press-briefings-covid-19-disinfectant-injection_n_5ea4e8b6c5b6805f9ece36a1?fbclid=IwAR3PeqqSLbw_AOPP9gy7tgmZ9AYAEFfveYOC0Byxg39q5bJDWWtX7OnRjV8

Well, we were right, Tweety.

Trump, with his BPD intact, simply couldn't keep the pie hole shut.

He apparently spent some time talking about himself (self-congratulatory), passing blame, whining and portraying himself as victim.

In other words; the usual.

These coronavirus briefings have really turned into the Donnie Trump Clown Hour, haven't they?

I imagine a certain number of folks tune in daily for the comic relief offered, during bleak times.

Ahh, Trumpsters.

Always demonstrating bottom of the barrel behavior.

From CNN:

Arizona GOP Chair Encourages Anti-Stay-At-Home Protesters To Dress Like Healthcare Workers

The GOP Chair is some kind of doctor.

Besides being irresponsible, I don't know what else she does.

Too bad for these deplorables, the majority of Americans support stay at home measures.

I think the message to dress like healthcare workers was a slam at liberals that gave non-healthcare workers a pass because of the "message".  She's mocking us that said the message was more important that actually being a healthcare worker.  At least that's how I took it.

Mike Pence toured the Mayo Clinic today that seemed to obviously have a policy of all staff wearing a mask.  It sure would have sent the right message that he was taking this situation seriously, if he wore a mask.  Looked actually funny to be the only one in the room without a mask.  Or is that petty?

Yes.

Because that's what responsible healthcare workers do in a pandemic?

They mock those trying to save lives?

Like I said earlier, Trumpsters always scrape the bottom of the barrel with their behavior.

A lawyer, in Clark County, KY (the eastern part of the state), posted online that he will not wear a mask in public as the governor requested as lock down restrictions ease, because he "has God given rights."

Yep.

Same selfish behavior we have witnessed for the past four years.

I am convinced these people NEVER think of anybody else besides themselves and their beloved leader:DJT.

Forgot to say that no, you weren't being petty.

Pence is the one looking like an idiot.

But I suppose he puts his trust in God, and not science or medicine, so there you go.

I would like to say that Trump's nothing but a scam artist, but that would be a massive insult to artists.

Do Trump and Pence think they are Divinely Impervious to the virus? Somebody go sneeze on them, please.

More bad news for Trumpsters.

From today's WaPo:

Trump Presented With Grim Internal Polling Showing Him Losing To Biden

Trumpty Dumpty handlers have tried to stick a sock in pie hole, by encouraging him to stay away from daily briefings because every time he opens his mouth, stupidity comes flying out.

But as we have discussed, his BPD, won't allow him to shut up.

Seems like more and more Americans dislike Trumpty Dumpty, and he is lashing out.

Six months to the election, and Trump is in free fall.

So long as coronavirus is with us, his incompetence will continue to be on full display.

Hurry up, November!!!!!!
