Trump should shut the hell up!! He should just stop talking. Better yet, he should resign as President and allow someone with the know-how, and who actually gives a damn, to be President. (Although, I don't put much trust in Pence, either, given some of the policies he put in place in his own state.)

Although I'm not a real fan of our state's governor, as President, New York State Governor Cuomo would ensure that all appropriate measures would take place in dealing with this whole Covid-19 thing. Both my wife and I were impressed by his recent speeches. It is nice to have a politician speak candidly and intelligently (unlike Trump).

Oh, Ted, KY's governor had also been stellar, and Ohio's governor, too. He is a Republican. Maybe he could push Trump off the stage!

Mike DeWine.

Trump's Tweet regarding Mitt Romney's negative Covid test.

In the middle of this, this is how he behaves.

Deplorable.

In the meantime, Trump's approval ratings up.   With 60% (not impressive to me, but shocking) approving of how he's handling things.

And then there is this in Newsweek:

Biden And Sanders Would Both Beat Trump In General Election If It Were Held Today, New Poll Shows

The majority of Americans have never liked Trump, and STILL don't like Trump.

He pointed to New York in this instance. The state with the country's highest number of COVID-19 cases is trying to get more respirators, but Trump says Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) can't blame the White House because he had a chance to order the supplies two years ago.

Like he did PR after the hurricane, he loves to get digs in while they are down.

What does he mean by

Quote

FOX NEWS DOCTOR: Do you think that kind of movement where you’re the leader, and other people work with you, will help us to isolate the virus?

TRUMP: I do… we are doing very well with almost all the governors… [but] it’s a two-way street, they have to treat us well also.

I'm sure there's more context I'm missing.     https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-says-governors-treat-us-194500496.html

Sure.  Just like Hilary was going to win in a landslide.

Most approved of Trump's handling of the economy,  and it doesn't seem like he'll be blamed for what's happening to it now.

Most approve of Trumps handling of our current crisis.

Sanders is done. So I wont bother with him.

Biden cant speak for more then 5 minutes at a time, and in that time always manages some sort of gaffe.  At least the current situation helps him in that he has an excuse to not hold rallies.

Politics aside, if I were to bet my hard earned money on the election, I know it woukdnt be on Biden.

Trump will have time on his side, and whatever actions he did just prior which is what most people have issues with will be long forgotten.

Most people understand this is a virus and not something he caused.  Most people see on a daily basis the positive things being done to combat the virus.  People understand the shortages of PPE and ventilators aren't his fault.   People want to remain hopeful and hear he's doing all he can.  (Not necessary "I'm not to blame, all I see is hate from the media, it's you're own fault you don't have ventilators" or retweeting "Snowflakes are scampering to their crying circles and clutching their emotional support puppies over this.".).  While I approve of the measures, his "handling of the situation" could use a little work.  But I certainly don't expect much from him anyway but exactly this.  He's a petty and catty immature man.  It goes back to the old "yeah he sometimes says stupid things but he gets things done..........."

Since this isn't an economic shutdown but one caused by a medical emergency, the economy should rebound when this passes.

"Politics aside" (while I talk about politics), I'm not wagering any of my hard earned money on the election just yet.

Trump is in VERY bad shape, if with no rallies and events, BOTH Biden and Sanders are polling ahead of him!

We know he is in bad shape.

I'll take Biden's honest gaffes, over Trump's deliberate LIES anyday!

But you do as you want!

Folks who have an appetite for lies will keep eating them up.

Gee, where have we heard that before?

Actually, unlike many here I actually do listen each day, and not just the parts any radical left or right source chooses for me to hear.

Biden cancelled his update today because he appeared on The View, and his campaign thinks that is sufficient.
