You are reading page 5 of President-elect Trump. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

After years of watching the different "Man on the Street" interviews . . . I'm glad people who are not interested in politics or totally uninformed about our country's history and/or politics do not vote.

And yes, if you didn't vote, then hush.

I think I'm taking back my last comment.

There are lots of reasons people didn't vote and my comment was related to a small minority of people who are not very well informed.

I would never want to silence anyone. I will of course take some things into account when I read or listen to those who didn't vote.

However, I do not believe in mandatory voting laws. That's just wrong.

Maybe because half of his longest paragraph was talking about education, including public education. Did you actually read what he wrote?

How on earth did you get that out of what Ted wrote??

We have early voting, absentee voting, same day voting etc how on earth are all these people disenfranchised? As a matte of fact some Democrats even get to vote multiple times sometimes in multiple states. Heck even dead democrats get out and vote so not seeing much disenfranchisement going on here.

What about voting in communities and states where the rules keep changing and voter rolls are purged with little preventative oversight and polling places are closed in minority communities?

Are any Trump supporters concerned about conflicts of interest by the President-Elect? He claims to have created a blind trust for his business, run by his children, however, experts agree that this does not qualify as a blind trust.

He had Ivanka, (of the blind trust) sit in on his meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister, wants Ivanka's husband to be an advisor, and is asking for a property tax reduction on his new Washington, D.C. hotel. I have heard of several Democratic congress members calling for an investigation, but where are conservatives, Republicans, and the Tea Party? Or are they just fine with Trump using the US government to boost his bottom line?

Where did you hear this from, Alex Jones or Breitbart?

Trump supporters, besides calling Democrats whiney crybabies (something a friend of a friend said) are making their support known.

In this case, they are actually protesting by pumping money into Starbucks...o.k. Although some are wising up to that.

Grub-hub stocks fell 11% in October, but Trump supporters this past week added fuel to the fire.

Meanwhile, president elect Trump is tweeting demands for apologies for Pence (isn't hea grown man who can speak for himself? ) but doesn't mention that he settled his Trump University fraud case for $25 million.

He already paid a fine for violating federal law.

It's the diversion tactic I mentioned that people are so good at. Easy to whine about the Hamilton cast saying mean things, but no mention of the rise in hate crimes since he was elected.

Personally, when I go see a show, I don't want to hear their political message and I think the Hamilton cast was inappropriate, regardless of how spot on their message was. Of course, Mr. Trump could grow some thicker skin about this "harassment" and quick whining.

I disagree. They were polite, respectful, and given the subject matter of the show, appropriate. I applaud their conviction and honesty.
