Hi everyone! I know the CDC's rule on artificial nails...but what about this new trend of the powder dip nails??? They are advertised as natural, but I'm not sure if they would be considered as artificial to a hospital system. Thank you!! :)

"Natural" how? I just Googled this, because I hadn't heard of it before, and the process includes cyanoacrylate, the main ingredient in "Krazy Glue." When did Krazy Glue become "natural"?

I'm going to guess that this process is considered basically the same as the other acrylic/artificial/gel manicures that are considered inappropriate in healthcare settings.

The hospital I work at says no artificial nails and/or nail enhancements. Powder dip ( I asked someone that worked at Sally's) are pretty much the same thing as acrylics, it is just a different application process.
