I was impressed by Castro, Harris, and Warren.  I like Buttegeig, but I don't think he's ready for prime time.  I'm all done with Bernie and Biden.  I have no idea what Williamson is even doing there.  I wish Seth Moulton had qualified for the debates.

Castro -was okay

Warren- Loving her honestly she has so much policy.

Harris - Not genuine. There is so much about the Sen. I am surprised she was even elected to this position.

Williamson- A writer no policy. Nice words.

Bernie - I felt the burn. I am over the Burn.

Biden- I like him. He has a history since he has been in politics for a number of years. He has done so much work for civil rights. However, times are different now he has to remind people what has he done for them lately(please excuse the Janet Jackson reference).  As I stated in a previous post he must address his past and discuss reparations and adopt an actual policy (be a Warren) focus on the future and how he could beat Trump.

I favor Warren overall, but I will support whoever the Democratic Party nominates.

Based on the discussion around immigration, I’d say Trump won.

I’ve said for awhile, and others have disagreed many times, that Democrats want open borders.  It’s hard to argue against that now after this “debate”.

I agree they have to run against Trump. The democrat party must be able to unite at the end of the day. If they attack each other they will never be able to truly unit and that will make Trump win again.

I am behind the Democrat party, but they can not attack each other and expect to win against Donald Trump.

That's part and parcel of political debate.  However, I bet if each one was asked they would say they will support whoever is the eventual nominee for their party. They know what's at stake.

First let me say I didn't watch the debates.  I rarely watch the debates because usually going into them I'm pretty decided and I don't have cable TV.  Glad to see in the internet age live updates and even streaming can occur.

There's a huge field and me being a "Never Trumper" the debates are not as important to me as I ultimately will never vote for Trump and will vote for whomever is against him.  Already I know that all 20 candidates have more Presidential qualities like honesty, professionalism, maturity and integrity than him.  Any one of them.

That said, the candidates I'm considering most out of this group are Harris, Buttigieg and Williamson.  In the other bunch I'm for Warren.

Harris was the hands down winner because her biting performance is all anyone is talking about, and that's what she needed. She dealt a major blow to Biden in particular.   Apparently Buttigieg did well too.  Marianne Williamson, not so much.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/27/politics/who-won-democratic-debate-night-2/index.html

I like Buttigieg’s demeanor and the way he handles himself.  Not surprisingly, there are many things I don’t agree with him about.  However, if a Democrat was elected, I would probably be able to live with him over others.

I liked his stink eye stare at Swalwell (?),  who absolutely deserved it.

I agree with the other poster that Harris isn’t “genuine”.  She “won” this debate because the MSM has decided Biden needs to go, and she went in for the kill.

I don’t know anything about Williamson, except what I saw last night.  My thought was “how in the world is that lady up there on the stage.”  She sounded a little “out there”, to put it nicely.

Hickenlooper I’m familiar with since the 80’s when he opened one of the first Brewpubs in the US, in what then was a run down section of Denver, after being laid off as a geologist.  He’s really the father of the craft brew movement, and he’s a interesting and funny guy.   Since he got into politics he kinda flows with the political winds.  In his first national interview as a candidate he avoided answering a question about being a capitalist even though he is a very successful entrepreneur.  The rumor is he’s actually setting himself up for a senate run.
