I'm sure this question has been posted over and over again but do you nurses drink a lot of caffeine beverages.I will be the first to admit that I'm a tea freak!!! and have to have a English style tea every morning and at night.I know that caffeine is suppose to be some kind of drug/stimulant but I feel much less energetic without,I guess it is my long term habit..I also drink a lot of coke, like if I have an orange juice, grapefruit juice in my fridge I still will reach for a coke, how terrible....share your experience,I personally think that I drink way to much caffeine,do you?

Coffee, all day long. Sometimes right before bed. I read somewhere that the addiction to recovery process of caffeine is somewhere close to six months! Real physical symptoms of withdrawal for months! To put that into perspective, cocaine about a week. Therefore, I figure it might just be easier to sustain the addiction ...

I drink a 100 calorie dinky can of coke. On really bad days though, I hit up the machine for one of those bigguns! I'm really trying not to drink a lot of caffeine. It soooooo difficult.

One cup of coffee in the morning, and that's it. Occasionally when I'm particularly ****** off about being at work, I treat myself to a froofy coffee drink.

Caffeine, why it's my drug of choice. Give me coffee, Pepsi, tea and no one gets hurt.

*SNORT*

Me, I've long wished that caffeine came in IV form. I've been at it since I was 8; my blood probably is made up of at least 50% caffeinated beverages. When I was pregnant with my older son, I drank so much of the black stuff that when I brought home my sonogram pictures, my three-year-old daughter looked at them and said "Mommy, the baby's swimming in coffee!!" :imbar
