You are reading page 33 of Nurse Jackie and HawthoRNe - thumbs up? or thumbs down?. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

1. She was inserting a foley? Scene made me sick.

2. I heard six units as well. Guess it makes more sense with 16. Still I wouldn't have given it, or I would have bought the man a snickers to take with it. *sarcasm*

3. I had to explain how to give an insulin shot to my husband after watching him skewer that man with an 20g IM needle.

4. If I ever saw my CNO on the floor I would pass out, let alone having her touching patients.

5. I give them credit for taking the guy to the unit after the code, at least they got that part right.

6. I did like the student nurse, felt like that one hit home a bit more. And the charge + paramedic was ok, but a little fast for me. They don't have to give all the stories away at the start. I like a little more foreplay than that.

Overall, I am not going to watch it. Too many holes that could have easily been covered with a little bit of minor research.

Yea it did look like she was hand-ling him with care LOL. I immediately thought of that when I saw it. But overall I liked the show, I will continue watching and put it on DVR. What else is there to watch at 9 on a Tuesday?

Now onto Real Housewives of New Jersey...

ok, my boyfriend had to calm me down during that show. Hawthorne seems like a good role model herself and most other of the nursing staff....But seriously, there's the elephant in the room I must address.

Did that blonde nurse give that Corporal a handy!?!?!?!?!?!?

:omy:

Really!?

you know, after like the 3rd person said they heard 6 units, i started questioning what i heard.

i 'thought' the nurse said "16 units is a lot for a bs of 225"...

but now, obviously it was 6 units...

which has lost all credibility w/me now.

no way would 6 units make someone bottom out.

no way.

anyways, mea culpa.
