Bareminerals and Proactive. My face is very oily and acne prone and these products really made a difference.

I use Cetaphil before work and St Ive's Apricot scrub after and I use a LOT of Clean and Clear oil sheets at work!

Don't use strong oil stripping stuff on your face. It will only encourage your skin to produce more sebum. Treat it gently and still moisturise.

I had acne for 20 years. I eventually convinced my dermatologist to prescribe roaccutane. I am now pretty much spot free but still have oily skin.

On the plus side, my oily skin means I look younger than my years :yeah:

I have combination skin, and I spread a thin layer of milk of magnesia on my T-zone. It keeps my skin matte pretty much all day long! And I think it keeps the pimples at bay too... since I started using it I only break out on my cheeks, which is where I don't use it (but maybe I should!).

I third LUSH! Amazing products for many skin types :) Try Dark Angels or Coalface- both are fantastic for oily skin, without stripping it dry at all. They're both similar, with a charcoal base, but Dark Angels is a scrub :) Happy shopping!! But be careful... the stuff is downright ADDICTIVE!!

Oil blotting sheets are your friend :) I use the ones by Boscia - not those Clean & Clear ones available from the drug store. The Clean & Clear ones have mineral oil and the Boscia ones are all natural and have different "types". I love the green tea ones. You can get them at Sephora - 100 sheets for $10 and sometimes they are on sale for $5. The Boscia sheets are also larger than the C&C ones and I think you get more for your money.

It could be worse, as you can see our A/C system has dried me out a bit over the years.

Thank you for the helpful posts guys! I do swear by the oil absorbing strips but I usually use two at time of the clear and clear ones so I'm definitely going to try the Boscia ones... I use LORAC makeup which is a good brand but I think I may try LUSH skincare- its seems pretty popular! Just worked 2 12's and now I have 3 days off.. I'm going skincare shopping! hahaa

I'm a big fan of a dermatology appointment and Accutane. Get rid of it once and for all.

Lots of good advice here -
