Prayers continue ((((AKY and DH))))

Hang in there love, you're doing a great job! So glad the medicos, staff etc are embracing you and not excluding you.

Be sure to step back every now and then ... regroup and breathe deeply.

Take a break for a cuppa and pretend we are all there with you being good mates and supporting you ((((AKY))))

Sometimes visualisation can do amazing things for our soul. :)

Prayers and hugs for all of you. How wonderful that you have family to lean on and good docs and other medical folks to provide such skillful care.

And, of course, you have your AN family. We will be here for you 24/7.

Let your husband know that he has a large network of people lifting him up in prayer and love. We're asking for his body and all your spirits to be healed and comforted.

((((((((((AK)))))))))) Continued prayers and many good thoughts coming your way from me. I talked to people at my church the other day and they are praying for you also. It is good that more family are coming to help in support. Your husband might not be able to be at home for Christmas but you can have a wonderful one when he gets oug of the hospital.

Make sure you keep yourself in good health, get your sleep and make sure that you eat. Take time to be with your furkids, they get you a lot strength and healing vibes. I know there are many times that I have been down and I come home and give my furs a scratch and my sprits start to rise.

I will keep good thoughts and prayers for you and your DH in the coming day.

Sonya

DH had to be transferred in middle of night due to BUN and Creatinine rising. His pneumonia is worse again. Now on BiPAP. He is well cared for and dialysis is still being considered. Awaiting results on many tests. Theory is that renal prb. are result of CT contrast dye. Many nephrotox drugs had to be given and the Lasix may have yo-yoed him a bunch also.

I know that I am not alone. All of you continue to support me as do friends of family and strangers. It is an amazing world where stangers give you the key to their home and say welcome just because they were asked to help out an old co-worker who happens to be my family member. My faith in people is increasing daily. My faith in pryer my be ebbing as it is not happening the way I want, but I know many of my prayers are selfish to get to keep my husband with me and get healthy again. I hate being out of control and this past week sure has put me in my place.

Contiued thanks and requests for prayers and spiritual lifting.

Thank you for the update.

Good that he has good caregivers and that you're kept updated.

Good that YOU have ppl who are kindly looking after you and your needs.

Continued prayers for his health issues, the caregivers and for you.

((((((((((((((AKY )))))))))) Thank God for attentive people who jumped on this - praying for you and your family!! The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (or woman) availeth much (Jas. 5:16). I am righteous only because of Christ and He hears our prayers!!!

I know that I am not alone.

No, honey you are not alone. Lots of prayers coming your way from the many members of this site. My heart goes out to you.

You have been very brave, and I am so very sorry that you are going thru this. It is good that your son and other family members are coming to support you as well.

Any word on the origins of the pneumonia? Given that they are treating with four different antibiotics, it sounds more like a resistant strain of bacteria. Of course, those antibiotics could be for secondary infections where the initial organism was an influenza or adenovirus. I know that they must have done cultures.

It does sound like these latest complications are, as you have indicated, from the dye and other nephro toxic agents.

Please take care of yourself during this as best you can.
