Good Morning!

Recently woke up. Currently drinking First Coffee. It does taste good!

Mowing. It was a BEAUTIFUL day, yesterday, perfect for mowing. Did not do it.

"Psycho Dog" . . . Geeze. He was up, crazed, a good portion of the night. It was a calm night. No storms. This is despite the gabapentin and melatonin. All of us didn't get much sleep last night. Feeling very frustrated and sad. With the exception of what appears to be "doggie sundowners" when he just can't seem to relax without us constantly being with him, Mayson is a relatively healthy dog. The vet confirms this. It seems that we have to learn to accept this new behavior somehow. It sure doesn't seem to be going away.

I'm off for the next three nights as part of my 6-nights-off-in-a-row thing. During this time, I hope to continue on with editing the dance video project, compose at least ONE new instrumental piece (which I started weeks ago), and maybe even  - (gasp) - mow(??).  Otherwise, there ain't much else going on.

Hope all have a pleasant day today. 🙂

Ted

Ted I hope you can find some way to manage this sundowing-like behavior of his.

Had stomach problems in the morning, so no church.  J had stomach problems too so no brunch.  By noon I had recovered, didn't end up doing much, just rested.  In the evening it was cool enough to ride my bike a bit

Back to work today.  Have some new nurses starting, they'll take over part of our workload once they're ready

Weather should be dry except for Wed.  Will be nice that things will dry out a bit after all the rain we've had

Good Morning!

Ted, hope the dog settles down.  Seems like a rather abrupt change in behavior though.

Joe, sorry about the stomach issues.  Glad your better and hope you have a good day.

I'm off today.  Thank goodness because we had a wicked thunderstorm that woke me up.  Was actually incorporating it into a dream about my niece moving and saying the thunderstorms wasn't going to stop her because she's rich.  😂

Going to the dentist for my six months checkup and cleaning.  Hate that.  Otherwise, need to do laundry and clean the bathrooms.  Such a life!

Morning-

Back to work after 4 days off.  Meh.  Yesterday was sunny and breezy, which made it a bit too cool to go to the beach.  We went into Boston and spent some time at a big outdoor food/farmers/craft market.  I got some delicious blueberry-lavender syrup to mix with seltzer (and maybe a little vodka).  Then we walked all along the Boston Harbor waterfront to the North End, which is a historically Italian neighborhood of the city.  I fell off the wagon for some amazing pizza.  It was somewhat offset by the 7 miles we walked, or so I tell myself.  The city was fairly crowded, as it often is in the summer.

Ted-I feel so bad about Mayson.  Have you thought of trying a Thundershirt for him?  I've heard they work well for some dogs.  How's the mowing going??  😂

Joe-Hope your belly is better.

Tweety-I'm one of those weirdos who actually likes going to the dentist.  I like having my teeth cleaned.  Hope you get a good report and you get some sleep tonight.

Back to work.  Have a good day.

Morning Ted, Joe, Tweety. BCgradnurse and Dianah, nursej22, Steph, No Stars, sirI and whoever follows!

They are finishing the other side of the street today. It's noisy and an inconvenience to park in the ally, but will be great to have a smooth street.

Tweety, my semi-annual dental cleaning is Thursday. 😄  Mammogram tomorrow.

No new earthquakes -- that we have felt.  I saw a couple aerial photos with damage: one, of a street that was quite offset  -- by 5 feet or so -- in three places, located in the China Lake area (Naval Air Weapons Station).   Another was a satellite view of the Ridgecrest area, in which a new fissure was evident, had opened up since the quakes.  Google fissure ridgecrest ca, and earthquake road damage china lake.  Plate tectonics is real.  The earth is always moving.

Yes, poor Mayson!  I hope you can find some way to help him relax, Ted.

herring, too bad you are inconvenienced while the street is being improved.  Hope things are back to normal soon.

I saw a meme: "Why do people insist on continuing to shoot off fireworks?  They almost set my Christmas decorations on fire!!"  😂

Have a good evening.
