NJ22 2 mile run in this weather is impressive

Hi Amo

Fairly busy day yesterday.   Choir practice then church.   Afterwards I met J for lunch at our usual place, seemed much less busy than usual.  Then we went to see Holiday Inn, enjoyed this musical more than the previous one, Forever Plaid.

Was kinda icy in the morning, I hope it got warm enough yesterday to melt most of the ice.

Rest of the day was quiet, exercised and discussed some stuff via email with the church's capital campaign committee.

Hoping for a regular work week.  Starting a new referral process which I  and another are helping with.   Think it shouldn't take too much time but we'll see.  Coworker is out one more day,  hopefully won't have much to do there.  Someone new is starting at the end of the month, hopefully they can quickly take over for the one who left.

Will be a fairly cold  day today, in the teens,  but think it will be in the 20s and 30s most of the week.

Good morning!

Joe hope the new process works well.  Sounds like this job is going better than the prior one.

J22, kudos for continuing to run in any kind of weather.

Weather here will go up to the upper 70's but the rest of the week will be seasonal for us in the upper 60's.

Work was busy with 6:1 ratio, discharged two but got an admission at 6pm.  Still was able to get out close to on time.

Slept in this morning.  Bowling starts tonight.  I thought about sitting out a couple of weeks but will go and wear my N95.  Got to learn to live with covid I suppose.

The travel agency is short staffed and inundated with requests and hasn't processed my cancellation.  I did however get a waver, like I did on my Southwest tour that I was vaccinated and wouldn't blame them if I got covid. I signed it even though I asked for a cancellation.  I still want to go and may even decide, like I said above learn to live with covid and go.  Who knows by late March I'll probably have caught covid by then.

FYI Alert!!!   No Stars is OK, but having computer problems with a new computer that just went black out on her. She wanted folk to know that's the reason she's not posting. Just the computer.

I STILL can't post on yellow. About a month now - I can't really read what gets posted by others either. I am soooo disappointed by this.

Hullo. I just finished a Zoom thing. Not really a meeting, more of a seminar. It's a weekly session sponsored by the state dept. of health about TB. They had an interesting case about a person with infectious TB who had just given birth 2 weeks prior. Infants are high risk for developing disseminated and meningeal TB, but most of the tests are not very reliable, like TST, QFT, gastric aspirate, or LP.

I thought I had to do a home visit this morning, but the patient said he was fine until Friday. Okay, that's fine. Job share can do that one.

Yes, Amo, dd will likely get a booster for her son at a pharmacy. They are the primary suppliers of those. Most provider offices do not have the very cold freezers needed for storage. His little brother got his at a school clinic last month.

Yup, Tweety, everyone seems to be short-staffed. I shake my head at people posting on Facebook to complain about the post office. We have had 3 years worth of snow in 3 weeks, plus ice. The mountain passes have been closed since last week, and the interstate was closed for a day last week. You may want your mail, but imma guessing it hasn't even gotten to the post office!

It was icy here again, this morning. Makes for an exciting/treacherous dog walk. I guess that would be one way to get a quicker MRI-fall and break my hip!

Some of the upper management around here is out of the office for quarantine. Luckily, almost everyone is set up to work remotely. Our program is one of the few that doesn't. We still have paper charts and use faxes, a lot.

I hope stars gets her 'puter fixed soon.

Hi BCg and Dianah!

Hi all-

Just another manic Monday here.  Another staff person out with Covid.  One coming back from quarantine.  It's a revolving door.  Had an MA walk out today after telling the boss to stick it where the sun don't shine.  Allegedly he was very rude and condescending to her.  I wasn't there, but that's not out of character for him.  Sigh.  Retirement can't come fast enough.  I'm tired of the drama.

Tomorrow is going to be single digits, hurt your face cold.  The office I'll be in tomorrow is cold anyway, so I'll be layering up.  I wear fingerless gloves when I'm not with a patient.

Puppy is doing well.  He had a play date yesterday with a friend's 4 month old mini-Bernadoodle puppy. They ran around and wrestled for 2 hours.  It was a lot of fun to watch.  My pup slept very well last night!

Joe-I'm glad you and J were able to get out.  The musical sounds good.  I love the old movie it's based on.

Tweety-Enjoy bowling.  I guess we do have to learn to live with Covid.  Sorry about your trip.  I'm starting to think that there aren't many places worse off than the USA, so we might as well travel if we're allowed in.  I'm hoping my trip to France in May still happens.

J22-Be careful out there!  I can't believe how much snow you've had!  That patient case sounds interesting.  I often forget that TB still exists out there.

Hi Amo-thanks for the update on Stars.  Good to know it's just technical difficulties.  Sorry you're having trouble posting.

Hi to Dianah.  Hope the burros aren't pooping on your lawn.

Hope all sleep well tonight!

Re my posting on yellow - Dianah tried helping me but I am so UNknowledgeable re 'puter lingo, I'm LOST!

Tomorrow will be the most frigid weather in this area in 3 years, per TV  weather. I know we whine around here when compared to other areas. But I'm cold and wearing a hat inside.

Wishing best for y'all working tomorrow. Esp those travelling outside.

I actually ordered some home covid tests from that channel up in Minnesota. They say they have them and I believe the channel. I worry that if I need a test emergently, I'll have testing avail.

j22 - are you on Elequis? I think I remember you so. I need to talk to someone. Before I call cardiology. Think I'll try PMing you.

Hello @amoLucia,

1 - When you attempt to use the "yellow" side, what happens? Please detail step-by-step, the problem.

2 - What browser are you using when the problem occurs? Are you using Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, "other" .... ????
