Good Morning to you all,

My oh my how quickly Monday morning came around I do not believe I felt like getting up but the dogs were restless, still managed a wonderful nights sleep and I guess I am ready for my day. LOL

Glorious weekend, makes Monday even better after having such fun. Off for another hike yesterday traipsing over this mountain, through umbrellas of trees over the trail. Saw trees and shrubs springing to life with buds.

I have no idea how many miles we put in yesterday but all 4 of us were exhausted when we got back to the truck. Our legs were like jello. LOL

Got my hair and nail maintenance out of the way, the ironing taken care of then came rest glorious rest!! We all snoozed away from our slog and I have to say it was so nice I did not want to wake up.

Cooked hubby a nice ribeye on the grill outside with some fresh veggie, I juiced all day until I ate some veggies for supper.

Makes going back to work much sweeter after having a wonderful weekend now doesn't it?

Hope you are all doing well and enjoyed your time off or if you worked that it was kind to you as well.

Have a most excellent day as I know I will make it so!

Much love to you all.

Morning Sabby

It was a pretty quiet Sunday for me. Got up late, did some CEUs, did some cooking for the week, ran a few errands, and that was it. Didn't get outside, I was too sore from putting that desk together. Was relaxing but I did want to do more that day.

Was thinking of going in early but decided against it. Will probably take my laptop home instead a do a small amount of work from home. It'll give me a chance to try out the new desk.

Trying not to allow work to stress me out or cause me to overwork. A tricky balance, since I have a reputation for being a hard worker. So I want to keep my reputation but not work myself into a tizzy. I think one of the problems is I set a bunch of goals for myself that prove unrealistic in the face of rapidly changing work conditions.

Good Morning -

Sabby_NC - It's nice to read that you're greeting Monday being rested and with a positive attitude. Lots of exercise (hiking) makes for good rest. :)

Joe - Seems like things are well underway for you to be working out of your home. The desk is done and hopefully it will be comfortable for you.

Yesterday was a relaxing day. Church and all things associated with the choir (anthems, rehearsals, etc.) went well. We had our "extended" choir rehearsal after church so that we can take more time to go over more and more complicated anthems which went well. I try to have these "extended" choir rehearsals at least once a month. With Easter coming around the corner, I'll probably have more of them. After coming home, I just relaxed with the loving wife for the rest of the day.

Still have two nights off from work which is nice. Amy is at work today and tomorrow and I basically have the house to myself for these two days. Will clean the house most probably tomorrow. Today? There are some annoying errands that need to get done. As written before, one is associated with our HOA. The other is related to our dog's "invisible fence" which appears to be not working. One of our canine family members have gone past the boundaries and started venturing down the dirt road where we live. We live in the woods which, for some areas, can go on for miles. It would not be hard to lose the dog. I think the collar which goes with the "invisible fence" is broken. It doesn't work despite changing the battery. Hopefully the company that makes these will honor their warranty and give us a new one at no extra cost (as advertised). We'll see.

Hope all who travel here have a wonderful day. :)

Ted

Good Morning! Sabby. Joe. Ted. Prosperity.

Ted: I was wondering what you meant by this Post:

I think I'll come here later and try to take over the world.

First, I'm taking over the Breakroom. Then I'm going for the Yellow Pages!

Is there anything Any of Us can do to Help you?

Can you give us an Idea of the New World Order Rules we're going to be Following once you're In Charge? It'd Help decrease our Stress Level, if we Know what to Expect.

And, where does Brian fall into the Plan?

Thanks, Ted.

Your Most Faithful Servant,

Davey (Brown Noser) Do

Well, Davey Do, as you know I was inspired by the cartoon show, "Pinky and the Brain" with regards to the whole taking over the world business. In helping me, think "Pinky". Be the side-kick. That should be quite helpful! Just watch the following YouTube video and all will be explained! :D

Just watch the following YouTube video

Oh Great Master of the World Ted:

I realize you're Busy and probably have a Gazillion Things on your Mind, but, if you Recall, I informed you that I am But a Poor Circus Performer who has Dial-Up Service at Home and a Blocker at Work.

Alas, I am not Blessed as you are and may never be able to see the Videos that are Posted for our Viewing Pleasure.

Gloom, Despair, and Agony on me.

Oh Davey Do. . . I honestly forgot. Please forgive my poor memory.

"Pinky and the Brain" might be on one of the cartoon channels. It's a relatively old cartoon show so it may not be. Produced by Stephen Speilberg (sp?), it's pretty funny with really good animation. However, it does lay the groundwork for any kind of plans to take over the world. If there's any way for you to get your hands on a faster internet service (at work, maybe?), it's worth the time and effort to watch at least the intro which I gave in the above post. LOL!

No gloom, despair and agony. . . just fun! (I'll remember your internet situation in the future. My bad.) :)

I remember Pinky and the Brain. My kids used to watch it.

It's a slow Monday for me. I'm hoping to finish up early and get home mid afternoon, so I can do......nothing. I'm a bit under the weather and would love an afternoon nap.

I hope all have a good day.

Pinky and the Brain . . .old??? If Stephen Spielberg did them instead of Warner Bros or Hanna-Barbera . .then that show is YOUNG!

Morning all - woke up at 0500 for some reason, got up to walk into the BR (no stories today), walked out of BR and onto the couch and fell asleep until 0737! Jumped up, woke up Spidey, hurried to make his lunch, find his basketball shorts for practice after school, send him with dad for the short drive up to his school.

Seeing hospice patients today.

Ted, good luck with the invisible fence. We've thought about that since our wienie-dogs are quite excellent at digging out from our yard. Fortunately our lab is too big to follow.

Did some yard work yesterday afternoon then had a good bonfire with the yard clippings (plus, Spidey cleaned up the yard from doggy leavings and put them in an old dogfood sack and tossed that on the fire as well).

Have a great day everyone. It is sunny and gorgeous here. Things are turning green, I see trees budding, and the snowdrops are more numerous under the lilac bushes today.

Good day all.

I really thought I posted yesterday. My life has been in a sort of a change so I guess that is what happened. Took naps yesterday and did shopping with my neighbor who is on a dry drunk. Unpleasant, and it has not changed today. Yesterday she yelled at my friend who was kind enough to plan to come over to help carry groceries. She was mad that he was not in evidence when she wanted. Instead of being reasonable and letting him know she had been expecting him, she immediately started to berate him. I guess then she started saying things about me, and he was very upset. Of course being an empath I was frustrated by her actions. Today she is no better. Oh well. I guess it is better than the parties that steph deals with.

Today tried to make lemon meringue pie and let's just say my meringue did not want to do it. I am doing laundry and will make meatloaf soon for dinner.

We had wonderful weather over the weekend and now temps nose diving, again. Well, I do know spring is coming so life is good.

Have a great day.
