Good Morning!

BC, that trip to China sounds great.  Good for Nephew. Hope they enjoy it.

Joe, hope you had a good Sunday.

Dianah, yes best friend George and his sweet smile will be my travel buddy as always.  So nice to have a best friend to go places with.   Sounds like you have some action packed good times.  The Renaissance Faire comes through here in Winter around February.  I went once but haven't been in many years.  Sounds fun.

Steph sounds like you made the best of your 2.5 hour day trip.

Nel, hope your last day was okay.

I woke up at 4AM, 15 minutes ahead of my alarm, but got a real good six hour sleep.  Need to leave early to stop by my brother in laws, where I'm dropping off the dog and meeting my sister who will drive us to the airport and baby sit the dog at her place.  It's just closer to the airport to drop the dog of at her ex-husbands.  Glad they still get along...sort of.  BIL will let me park the car in his garage saving me $$$ for parking at the airport.    Will be a long day of travel and we're jumping 13 hours into the future.

Not sure what my posting will be like, but will check from the phone.

Hope everyone has a great day and week.

Have a good trip Tweety

Yesterday was fairly quiet.  Had the usual choir and church.  The plan was to meet J for dinner but his stomach was acting up so we decided to cancel our plans.  We'll meet Wed as we usually do.   Went for a walk as the weather was quite nice

Will likely go for a walk today too as the weather will still be nice, although in the next few days there will be more rain and cooler temperatures.

Should be a fairly ordinary week for me.  Things will start to get busy with choir with Easter coming up, we might have additional practices coming up like we did last year

Wading through some more TB minutiae, today it is about persons applying for a green card. There are regulations set forth by CDC, HHS, and US Citizenship and Immigration Services that do not play well with each other, and some provider offices charge ridiculous fees and yet do not fill out the forms correctly, or make the proper notifications.

Tweety, you are probably half way to Japan, but do have a wonderful time

Joe, I remember how busy you got last year with choir. I hope it is enjoyable despite the stress. Have a nice walk! I enjoy looking at birds, but with my eyesight I have trouble distinguishing between some features.

Ooh, China sounds exciting. And a Renaissance Faire does as well.

I enjoyed Call the Midwife last night, and the final part of Mrs. Wilson. That is the extent of my international travel for now.

I may go home early today, my tummy is a bit upset. I am sure it will pass.

later,

Good evening from the very rainy mountains.  It is simply pouring down.

Both baseball games were canceled after 1st one was stopped for rain in the 4th innning and the rain never stopped.  I just heard loud and long sounds of thunder!!  Yikes.  Hope we don't lose power.

Tweety - thinking of you.  Safe flight and great food and fun!

My day has been kind of crappy in a few ways so I'll just sign out and be grateful for leftovers.  I'm not in the mood to cook.

Hope everyone's evening is all you wish it to be.

Take care!

Hello all!

Tweety, thinking of you amid the rigors of international travel.  I'm sure you have your ways of weathering it as best you can.  Nice to see George's smiling face!

Dh is sick with a heavy cold today.  His first one since he retired almost a year ago!  when he was working he got one about once or twice a month.  Still, it's not very comfortable for him, and he has slept most of the day.  We had soup for dinner.

Yesterday I got out to get the car washed (got REALLY dirty in the dirt parking lot at the RenFaire!), then went grocery shopping, put the groceries away, had some lunch and helped dh get ready as much as I could, so we could pick up fiddler K and head to Menifee for a house jam.  Got there late but that's OK, got there in time for the potluck and then got to jam for a couple hours.  Lots of fun, good to see some of our friends.  Stopped on the way home for sushi, then after we finally got home, I had to wash my scrubs, clean catboxes, get ready for work.

Got to bed late and couldn't sleep, couldn't sleep, couldn't sleep.  Woke up feeling lightheaded and awful, called in for the day.  Have rested and feel better.

It's been a quiet day.  Just paid the bills.

Have a nice evening!
