i agree i found it last weekend. let it be affiliated with john mccain and there would be "the dark side" to pay. what really irritates me is the amount of tax breaks they receive to the amount of indigent care they offer.

i bet my bottom bippie that this never hits the mainstream news...

If this is true and NOT a smear tactic by the right, then that's a shame. I love Michelle Obama and I'm an avid volunteer for her husbands campaign here in San Francisco. I will find out if this holds truth or not. So many things are lies and smears. Even still, I will NOT vote for McSame!!

Clinton allowed Hillary to head his medical reform plans, I just wonder if Barrack plans on letting his wife do the same and if this is part of the big plan.

I tend to believe it because nearly ALL hospitals do this.

But just because they all do doesn't make it right.

Non profits take money from Medicare-Medicaid, tricare, and other insurance companies that is for patient care and use it to build fancy lobbies and other non essential expendatures.

So it will be a struggle to improve the profit centered system. We need a human centered system for us.

I do think that IF we work to achieve single payer healthcare or any improvement for we the people a President Obama would sign it and a President McCain would veto.

Ten with the excuse of the uninsured gone hospitals nurses will have more leverage. And I think a Democrat would sign a federal safe staffing law.

I hope so.

Wow! Just wow.

The real story is this...if this was McCain, it would be all over MSNBC and CNN, and the wall street journal, etc, etc...

But since it's '''''Obama"''' then it's ok. Yep, it's ok to behave this way if you are a privileged Obama....:barf01:

The Sun Times is a good paper.

The cable "news" wants to sell advertising.

My hospital does this kind of stuff too.

My professional association works for healthcare for all.

Does the Vice President of Human resources control that hospital policy?

ok, what am i missing here?

where's the harm in redirecting those (w/benign conditions) to clinics vs er's?

i don't care who's behind it...

mccain or obama.

it just makes economical sense to do this.

don't we constantly complain about loooooong er waits and what it costs taxpayers to fund those who use the er as a doctor's office?

dang, mrs. obama isn't shunning anyone.

it's not as if people are going without.

not understanding the dismay...
