A short opinion piece in today's WaPo, by Fred Hiatt, gives a rundown on several ways Trump and Friends have already eroded our democracy:

The Defenses Of Democracy Are Giving Way

And the old man continues his moronic rants, again from today's WaPo:

Trump Suggests Pelosi, Schiff Committed 'Treason' Should Be Impeached

Of course, it is a play from Trump's limited play book: Accuse someone else of the very thing you are guilty of.

Because of his limited intellect, Trump has THREE plays, in the play book.

We see this play uses quite frequently.

It is only successful, with the rabid base.

While I disagree with the opinion piece, I wouldn't consider this an example "media behaving badly".  Opinion pieces from both sides are important to consider, and they are presenting this as opinion and not disguising it as a news story.

Trump believes that Senators are impeached?

It's happened once, and the constitution says "civil officers " are impeachable.

If you had commented that it is ridiculous for Trump to suggest Romney should be impeached, I would have agreed.

More bad news for Trump.

A Federal judge ruled that he must hand over tax returns in the case involving hush money payments to porn stars.

Read about it in today's WaPo.

Expect more unhinged rants from the old man.

Now Trump's supporters in the Senate are trying to get us to believe that he didn't mean what he said, in relation to China and the Bidens.

Huh?

What we all heard isn't real.

That play is straight out of Putin's play book.

The GOP is now the party of Lame Excuses.

😝😝😝😝

Does anyone wonder if the Attorney General's visit to Fox News big wigs had anything to do with Shep Smiths abrupt and unexpected departure announcement the next day? Isn't it interesting how it follows Trump's complaint that Fox was no longer working for his interests?

I would love to hear the apologists and defenders of the liberal media defend the WaPo headline:

"The Washington Post is facing backlash after a headline characterized the Islamic State leader who was killed in a U.S. raid over the weekendas an "austere religious scholar." The headline was quickly changed, but critics say it sugar coated the terror inflicted by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi."

Reportedly, the actual obit mentions his love of soccer and other intersts.

Funny how the booing at the game is a much bigger story then the death if the ISIS leader.

Nothing to defend, it's a dreadful headline.  Reportedly he was pretty strictly religious in his beliefs...as are a lot of murderers, particularly Islamists, so perhaps "austere religious scholar" isn't a lie.  But agree, "terrorist" would have been a better word.  How did that even make it through even the most jaded Trump hating editor?

But good for the left leaning USA Today to be your source.  From what I see it's pretty widely condemned.

Are you seriously trying to say that Fox or other conservative media would\does not do the same thing?

Very naive if you are.

Do you have an example of when Fox has done "the same thing"?

There's more to the story of "We know he's a serial killer, rapist and murder and want to protect him and don't want to report on it and you're fired."  This is a cherry picked story designed for click bait.
