Interesting to hear a professional news journalist’s opinion of the way the NYT and WashPo cover Trump.

https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/ted-koppel-new-york-times-washington-post-decided-as-organizations-that-trump-is-bad-for-united-states

How funny!

News organizations decided Trump is bad?!

Really?

His support for White Nationalists, mocking of opponents, calls for violence at his pep rallies, well, I suppose in the minds of a subset of Americans, those things are good for Americans.

My sides hurt from laughing at the sheer folly.

At least now youre acknowledging, and approving of it seems, that your two favorite news sources are biased.

No. I did not.

How you could possibly leap to that conclusion is mind boggling; as mind boggling as your original post.

I suggest that the majority of Americans, who voted AGAINST Trump, deemed him bad for America.

And they have been proven right!

I don't think the NYT or WaPo is making DJT look bad. I think he is doing that all on his own.

Case in point, this article from Associated Press, one of the more middle of the road news agencys:

https://apnews.com/07c68ddd6a304e7ca6b020c2b9deb052

Quote

Former coal miner John Robinson’s bills for black lung treatments run $4,000 a month, but the federal fund he depends on to help cover them is being drained of money because of inaction by Congress and the Trump administration.

Amid the turmoil of the government shutdown this winter, a tax on coal that helps pay for the Black Lung Disability Trust Fund was cut sharply Jan. 1 and never restored, potentially saving coal operators hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

“Mr. Trump promised that he would bring the mines back and take care of the miners, and that is not happening,” she said. “He promised us a snowball in July.”

That was a stretch.

I thought it was interesting that Koppel said

Quote

“That’s the kind of language that’s used by people who genuinely believe, and I rather suspect with some justification, that Donald Trump is bad for the United States.”

I would posit that the press have an obligation to widely publicize those facts which would lead thinkers and patriots to believe that Donald Trump is bad for the United States.

I think that lies the problem "Fox News" of all sources is calling other news sources biased when they are nothing but a wing on the right wing Republican Party and President Trump.     It seems that's part of their agenda to show that Trump is good and other news sources are biased and even fake news.

What one could call biased, another would call "reporting the truth".

I have to agree with the sentiment that NYT and Washington Post, and even CNN are decided anti-Trump by reported TRUE more often that not that paint Trump in a negative light in both news and analysis/opinion pieces.  He gives them so much to work with on a daily basis that it can hardly be ignored.

Both sources have over the years have looked at what's going on politically and in the White House for many years and have reported it and analyzed it for good for bad.  Are they reporting things that wouldn't have been reported years ago?  Sure, but Trump is pretty unique in how he behaves.  Never before has a President re-tweeted Fox News so much, and perhaps never before has NYT and Washington Post been no negative.  Neither perhaps are false in their reporting.

Not sure about this source, but speaking of propaganda.

As a world traveler myself I do CNN and no they don't focus on how "great America is" but do seem to report the stories going on more on a world focus than US focus.  I mostly watch BBC World and they seem to do the same, rather than focus on how great Britain is they just report what's going on around the world.

I'm not sure about this source though, but I'm putting it out there.

Great analysis piece in today's Washington Post regarding Devin Nunes lawsuit against Twitter.

Some First Amendment scholars believe his real intent is far more sinister: To change defamation laws that pertain to public officials.

From today's NY Post:

Cindy McCain Posts Stranger's Vicious Message After Trump Attack On Her Husband

The content of the message was truly vile, and most likely sent by a rabid Trumpster, just following her leader.

By the way, Trump went out of his way to attack the dead Senator, again, yesterday.

Can somebody tell the dolt that McCain is dead?

Utter embarrassment to all Americans.
