You are reading page 11 of Media behaving badly. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

Meanwhile, media representatives like Greg Jarrett regularly report that the president is being harassed and hounded by corrupt FBI investigations and conservative congressman question judicial committee witnesses using Jarrett's book as inspiration to suggest that the Mueller investigation is REALLY about protecting Clinton.

The right wing media is full of misbehavior like this. That's why Fox news should be the focus of any thread in irresponsible or inappropriate media activity.

herring . . . I am aware of your history as you've shared it here before.  And I've always been very proud of you and appreciate your life and willingness to share it here.  You live in my state and the issues you dealt with I am well aware of before meeting you so I'm grateful for your eyewitness accounts.  Especially of the nurse/mandate issue.

I still think that even if a person feels threatened only one time in their entire lives and it doesn't involve the same kinds of horrible things you had to experience, it should still be taken seriously.

Thanks also for mentioning that Nathan Phillips has some credibility issues.

I think it is nice that you respect herring's life experiences, which maybe very different from your own, and not simply dismiss them as anecdotal, or bragging, and insist that those experiences in no way give her opinion value.

Your statement to her, demonstrates a certain respect, that is refreshing.

Peter Hegseth on Fox and Friends, says he doesn't wash his hands, ever.

This is someone DJT considered heading the VA. Think of all the money that could be saved by doing away with hand hygiene. 🤦‍♀️

I saw your post, and honestly, didn't know what to make of it.

But I just read the story on the BBC.

Very, very strange.

First, I don't believe it.

Secondly, maybe this guy is having some sort of public mental health breakdown.

I just don't understand why anybody would say, very loudly in public: I am a filthy slob.

Believe me, those around me are very happy that I engage in regular hand hygiene, as I have been known to pick up the stray horse poop ball with my bare hands.

Btw, I don't share that tidbit with co-workers or patients.

Spidey's Mom and I have gotten to know each other over many years. Her youngest son was a toddler then. He is now a man. She was also a nurse here when we worked for ratios and then worked to save them from the governors executive order.

She is a wonderful role of disagreeing without insulting the other person. (Even when the person deserves it). I like everyone who has discusses politics here recently. I hope we all follow the TOS so threads are not closed.

OK- enough of the "Like Fest".

She can be insulting in her own way, but have to admit she's good about it and I've enjoyed our talks over the years.  I've been dreadful to her and she takes it so well.  Can't believe her toddler is so grown.  😂

But, you're my role model.  If I can only be as kind as you are in discussing politics but I like to call people out too much rather than let things slide and be as kind as you.

I think while we get some threads shut down overall we're a good bunch.

OK - enough of the "Like Fest"

As I type Fox News has a big headline about Dem. Rep Omar being scolded by Democrats and apologizing for her anti-semitic remarks.  I understand this is news, but the lead story?

CNN's headline meanwhile is an opinion piece on Trump's racist attacks on Warren, and another that he's lying to us about the wall.  They also cover the apology as a link but not a huge banner headline.  I can understand them publishing this but this really isn't news.

BBC meanwhile has nothing but news stories with the lead being about the effect of the decline of insects and it's affect.  Can't criticize them for this.

Meanwhile Southern Baptist leaders are being accused of sex crimes and wonder why this isn't banner headline news?

Herring is always my role model.

She is just so darn kind!

To everyone!

A trait I strive for, yet can never meet.

Oh you mean its fake news!?! On a so-called news channel? The same channel that dear leader gets much of his information from?

I get mad and yell. I can be sarcastic, but know not to post then because sarchasm and insults often lead to retaliation. Often by the time I'm no longer angry someone else has posted what I wanted to say.

It is a fact that whether we agree or not I like you all.

Gregg Jarret is a legal analyst/commentator, expressing his opinion.   Other then expressing an opinion different then yours, what has he done to “misbehave”?
