You are reading page 2 of Me too. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

Mitch McConnell has called for an investigation of Franken, and Franken has called for his own investigation.

Which is far more than the Bum has done. And all pathetic Roy Moore has managed to do is deny, deny, and deny but offer nothing else. And the body count for Roy Moore is now NINE.

I love how he blames Democrats and McConnell for his trouble. As if Democrats and McConnell would team up and plot together!!! LOL!!!!!!

You know. . . that video with Trump bragging about grabbing women's "female parts" has been on Youtube and readily available to watch for a while. Those who still support Trump really need to see and hear that video. If they STILL support him, then this country has some deep, deep problems with its own citizenry.

Why do you think these people don't know what was said?

What, if they only knew, they would turn away?

That's crapola.

This country is misogynistic, and through these Trump fans, it's desperately trying to stay that way.

This is from today's Washington Post. Why does the Bum think he has any authority to speak about Al Franken? Oh, right, I forgot that the Bum doesn't possess a shred of self-awareness.

President Trump, who was dogged by sexual misconduct allegations during his 2016 campaign, took aim at longtime critic Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) on Thursday night, after Franken was accused of forcibly kissing and groping a woman 11 years ago.

"The Al Frankenstien picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words," Trump wrote on Twitter, misspelling the apparent reference to the 19th century novel "Frankenstein." Trump added in*a second tweet that Franken had last week been "lecturing anyone who would listen about sexual harassment and respect for women."

I might be surprised if Franken's attentions were the worst or most memorable moments of sexual harassment in a playboy bunny's life. Hefner's parties were notorious, weren't they? That is a tiny vision of how deeply American sexism and misogyny are, IMV.

Yes, but if she CHOOSES to be sexual, that is one thing.

She said she was asleep in this case.

No choice.

Where are all the women who were grabbed by Trump? Have we heard from even one? He said it was locker room talk, and he apologized.

We have a picture of Franken. In my jurisdiction, he is committing unlawful sexual contact, and it possible he would have to register as a sex offender if he were convicted of such a crime.

So, let's say it's 2020. Trump has been impeached. It's Franken vs Pence. Who gets your vote?

No, I'm not saying that. He probably was an inappropriate jerk, but that's not necessarily a pattern of behavior for him that we are aware of, he has owned it, apologized, and reflected like a mature adult.

This story is remarkably different from the accusations against Moore.

There is no reason at this time to suggest that Franken should step down. That is political hyperbole, IMV.

So, if Moore owned up to his accusations and apologized, all is good?

I agree, she should get a choice, always, but I bet she often didn't given her bunny status. Yeah, Franken was acting like a pig. Yet, I don't think that the photo proves that he groped her. In my view, the photo proves that he thought it would be funny to take a photo that made him look like he was going to grope the otherwise unattainable playboy bunny. That's the very American humor of young males in our culture. That's the very same humor and thinking that allows people to blow off Trump's bragging about grabbing and kissingwomen without consent as just talk (while they simultaneously ignore credible claims of much more than talk).

So far, Franken's behavior seems to be isolated rather than a pattern of abuse and harassment (as compared to Trump or Moore or Hastert). His self reflection was immediate and sincere unlike the previously mentioned men.

I would vote for a humbled man who shows ability to take responsibility for his own failures rather than a man who blames his failures on the power of sin and who can't be honest with voters.

Really? Selective memory?

By the way, this was way more than "locker room talk" as you put it. It was a candid glimpse into the man's soul. Failure to realize this is striking.
