Good Morning Davey,

:roflmao: Davey I think Stephanie may give you more than a little sugar she may give you a bop on the nose. LOL Now I think I am going to have that little ditty in my head all day. Baaaaahahaha

Awesome day out in the field of hospice yesterday, got my visits taken care of and had a 90 minute bereavement visit with a person that lost their spouse. Breaks my heart for these people to have such a dramatic change in their lives. Was a great time catching up and going through all that happened. So glad bereavement will follow this person.

Have an admission first thing today so I shall get ready for that and leave from the office with our social worker.

Once that is taken care of I will hit the road and get my visits taken care of before getting back to the office to do a little follow up phone calls and education.

Have to get the ol' pupils dilated again tomorrow which I do not like as it makes me feel nauseated but gotta check on those peepers and ensure that things are going well although the symptoms I have had seem to have eased up. I am supposed to go to a meeting after that for our DPS who is away on a conference.

I would really prefer to come home so I think I will until that meeting then go and listen to that.

Hope you are all doing well this day.

3" of snow dumped on us yesterday but gone in the afternoon, it was beautiful falling and looked amazing just the kind of snow I love ya see it then ya don't. We sure have had more than our fair share this past winter I have to say.

Lovely driving around to see blossoms coming out, daffodils everywhere and magnolias popping out color. Makes me feel happy driving around watch life return to the trees etc.

Hope you all have a wonderful day no matter what you get up to.

Much love to you AN family.

Morning. . . Good! :)

Davey Do - Rarely does Steph give out "Likes". It will be interesting to see if she does just to make you happy (or to shut you up!) LOL! :cheeky:

Sabby_NC - The forecast for yesterday and today was supposed to be snow. It certainly was cold enough to get the snow. I see that the forecast has changed. You got the snow instead! LOL! Seems like you have a busy day today. I'm sure all will go well. :) Sorry you couldn't load the MP3 file. I might have to create a YouTube link so that friends and family can hear the composition. If/when I do, I'll just post that link on the original post in the Entertainment Forum.

I have four more nights of "Stay-cation". It's been nice having such a long time off, but I'm ready to go back to work! LOL! Amy and I have more theater outings, though. I honestly don't remember the name of the show that we're going to see Saturday. LOL! It's one that Amy wants to see and we're also going with some friends. Should be fun. :)

Gonna do some house cleaning today and work on the video on restraints and get that ready for staff to watch at work. The editing should take about 5 to 6 hours from start to finish. I want to start another music composition; wanna get those atrophied music-writing muscles exercised! LOL!

Take care, folks. Hope you all have a pleasant day today! :)

Ted

Morning Davey and Sabby

Well, it appears that all the technical bugs associated with my working at home are now fixed. Left work early yesterday, met with the cable guy and he got it fixed. Nothing preventing me from working at home come May. :). Still have to figure out a few details. Will probably have to get another cat before then, or my existing cat will get bored and bug me while I'm working.

Good thing that I left early too, Mr. Migraine came back just after I got home. Got rid of him pretty quick. Interesting that this happened after I went off my diet over the weekend...

Got the laundry done last night since I was home early. Might do the grocery shopping tonight.

I'm okay either way. I'm into Consequentialism.

Good morning. It's finally Wednesday. It's time for me to get up and get ready for the day. I woke up with a little headache but I don't think it will last long.

I read you all.

Just popping in for a quick hello. I will try to stop by during my morning work break.

Good morning! I'm happy that we just got a dusting of snow, but boy, those winds are howling! I have a lot of large tree branches down in my yard, so cleaning those up will be on the agenda this weekend. So far, today has been a good day at work. The boss is on vacation, so everyone is relaxing and enjoying the no stress environment.

Davey-if you keep poking Steph, you're liable to get a spider bite! Joe-glad all the details were taken care of so you can work at home. I vote yes for getting another cat! Ted-glad you're enjoying your staycation. Savor the last 4 days! Sabby-I think it's wonderful that you follow up with the families after the patient has died. That's a very valuable gift to the family, knowing that they are not alone. Hey to everyone else who stops by today.

Coffee Part Deux is calling me. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Too good you are. A like and a thumb's up.

:wavey:

Good morning all. Spidey's c/o tummy pain this morning. Made him some Top Ramen, which I know is not a healthy meal. But for some reason it seems to help when the tummy isn't feeling all that good. Bland pale noodles, chicken (?) broth. I also have the old-fashioned Campbell's Chicken noodle soup with tiny itsy bits of chicken (?). He's going to school however. He missed Monday and that's all his nurse/mom will tolerate.

Rainy here. But not too cold. Decided to go back to my yoga class last night. What a wonderful idea. Quiet, lightly lit room, soft music, gentle yoga moves for 1 hour and 15 minutes. At the end, she gives those who wish, a head massage. Very lightly done with some lovely scented oil. Spidey came with me - but spent most of the time outside riding a scooter or playing an old GameBoy he found from when his older bro's were young. I came home smiling and singing a song while cooking. Maybe that's the answer to life - Yoga.

Sabby - our census is very low right now.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Good day all.

Well, I am back to the ranks of the unemployed. The job was never a good fit and got worse as time went on. Life is too short to be miserable. We got just about 1/2-1 inch of snow that stuck. Then the winds started to howl and are just letting up a bit now.

Joe, glad the internet problems are fixed. Glad the HA was a short one. Sabby, there are times I get jealous of the families you serve. As much grief and pain as I have had in my life, there has never been a personal presence to assist with bereavement. They are very blessed to have all of you. Not to say I did not get comfort, it was just very different.

Ted, I always look forward to your compositions. Today I am going to check out your latest. No time or energy in the past couple of days to do more than be glad to be out of that job.

I give lots of likes. I guess some might say I am easy. I do appreciate the time and connectedness by many writers. I do not give likes for what I consider less than intelligent offerings. As Davey said while interviewing my doppelganger, I am an activist. Many of my political leanings are portrayed in my likes.

Today I am making meatballs for dinner so best get at washing my hands to get swishy with all the ingredients.

Have a wonderful day.

.

I hope to gosh you are wearing gloves!!! :nailbiting: I can't touch raw meat without them.

All I think about is the skin cells that get into the meat and the meat that gets under the fingernails. Blech.

(Admission of one small *ocd-ish* issue of mine). ;)

It is my day off except for an IDT meeting at 12:15. Thinking of taking a walk before the rain starts up again.

That and making some headway into housework.

I put some photos up on FB of my son and his daughter (my granddaughter!) from my trip to Oregon last weekend. I wonder if the link here will let those who are not on FB look? I'll give it a try:

She's such a sweetie - as all babies are TO ME. I love babies.
