What Song Are You Listening To Right Now? - page 37

"I'd Love To Change the World" by Ten Years After. It has a haunting, almost menacing sound IMO, but I love it. It's the leadoff song in my "60s-70s" playlist.... Read More

We're working on the set-up of a clinical trial called "STASEY".

All - literally, ALL - I can think of is how this project's Mom Has Got It Goin' On.

I would "Like" your post, tmb, but I haven't a clue about what a DUBSTEP is. But I do like the word...it's like a Dubber walking or 'dancing' . I have had a dog we called "Dubber-Dog". It's an affectionate term.

Don't feel all obliged to 'splain yer post in any detail, though. Seriously, I mean it. There are just some things of which I am contented to be ignorant.*

*This goes back about 30 years ago when I asked a student at a college I was touring if she liked the courses she was taking. She said, with a shrug, "I was happier when I didn't have to memorize family, genus, and the like. Latin names and all. It kind of stripped the pleasure out of the subject for me."

Bumping this. This is a thread OCNRN63 loved dearly.

As many of you know, she has been sick with ovarian cancer with mets for years. Her dad posted on FB last week that she is too ill to post anymore, and that the end is near. She always had music in her. Best wishes to her family, and I hope her passing is quick and peaceful.

I wrote this to give to family and friends as as 2016 Christmas Gift. It's an instrumental titled, "A Warm Spring Day". This is for you, OCRN63. Peace and Blessings to you.

Lester the Data Manager and myself are the only ones in the office right now, and we've both got 'Copacabana' stuck in our heads.
He starts humming it - that sets me off, I start humming it - that sets him off.

Thing is, though: Lester's the world's worst at remembering lyrics. He doesn't let that hold him back.

"Music and, erm... laughter... is what they were after at the COOOOPAAA...."
