Heh. Says the Wisconsin girl. :chuckle

When I first answered, I thought we were talking about condiments to be added to food after cooking. If you're talking about seasonings added TO cooking, then I use garlic, wine, and onions a lot.

Wow - This is great - notice how many of us are hooked on garlic? Now I really feel sorry for people who have to sit near nurses at lunch/dinner. Not only are they likely to overhear somethign that makes them upset, but the breath wafting over the nursey table is challenging in it's own right!!

I like garlic, and what-ever kind of peppers go into Thai food. It's spicy-hot and delicious, not just hot for hot's sake. Yummmmmm

I never add salt to anything. This is good because of my Htn.

Honestly, I add peanut butter to almost everything I make. So versatile.

Red chilli powder goes into everything: Tuna salad, soups, stews, stirfries everything. Sometines I gring my own with dried chillis and a coffee grinder (not the same one I use for coffee).

Hot curry powder goes into a lot of things.

I get a lot of milleage out of rice vinegar too.

I am enjoying alse enjoying the versitility of Renee's Japanese salad Dressing and Old Bay spices.

Garlic! I always double the amount a recipe calls for
Salt, added to the cooking in small amounts, but never at the table

Celery, green peppers and onions goes in practically everything I cook. Also fresh ginger if it's Asian food; garlic, different peppers and chili sauces, and I love cheeses!

Hey, my DH built a spice rack for our kitchen last fall which holds 52 different spices. And there are even MORE in the cupboard! We use them all, and can't be limited to just 10 or 15! So don't even TRY to ask for just one spice!
