Sep 9, '06Roy - I played "Gloria" just now and my daughter came in yelling "eee-yooouu! Turn that down!". I asked her to look at the lead singer. She said "Yuck, Bono!".
Grace - It gets very cold in the winter here too - in fact my husband's grandparents covered over this beautiful tongue-in-grove maple flooring with carpet in the 1960's. Amazing.
The fence isn't finished - but we did work on it. The funeral was actually very nice - this man was beloved by all and had a lovely smile and a twinkle in his eyes.
Gotta think of something for dinner . .
(DD says she has heard "Virtual Insanity" before and it is "OK" but not her type of "music". She says she put videos of Alexis On Fire on that website.)

Sep 9, '06hello dear hearts
on the farm growing up hog and beef testes were eaten i think they do the same with sheep and goats but we never had any so i can't tell yo for sure the young males selected for meat grow faster and have more tender meat when they are castrated
in arkansas they say that they used everything on a pig except the squeal
i am a born caravoire but even i have to draw the line somewhere
i always liked carpet but it is a lot of work...i would not put any new carpet down i don't believe a dust mop is lighter than a vacuum cleaner
roy, once i started reading it came into focus..reminds me f those old baseball stats that had no vowels they say that that started because of the cost of telegrams
catch you all in the morning

MY daughter said, "Be sure to thank him for posting U2. It is AWESOME!"
She was fifteen when it was recorded. She spent almost an hour watching and listening over and over.
Sep 9, '06Spacenurse . . . . I was 23 when it was recorded. Yikes. :uhoh21:
None of my kids like U2. Me either really.
Gotta go to bed . . . .
Sep 10, '06Steph:
Our house has two bedrooms. When our kids were five and seven we started sleeping on a convertable sofa in the livingroom so they could each have a bedroom. We got bunk beds so they could have a friend over.
I would be trying to sleep after working all night and she was playing Bono singing, "I'm wide awake. I'm not sleeping."
She had it LOUD. I made her turn it OFF or take it outside.
Actually I think they are a good band and he really belts out a song with feeling and style. Just got sick of the same ones.
