Quote from dianahhi dianah! hope you're having a splendid day today! wacky website adventures, eh. hmmm...any really funny ones?i just got home from work, made some quick din-din for the kids . . .for christmas i received a daily tear-off calendar providing a wacky website for each day of the year............everyone have a good sat/weekend!! dianah
Quote from stevielynnhi steph! you could always leave the tree up 'til next year? enjoy your day off with the family! hope bailey is feeling better today, and forgiving you for letting the vet rip out his baby making parts...................i took the "fake" christmas tree down - it comes in 3 parts - i cannot get them all back into the box they came in. happy saturday to everyone - i don't work and i didn't have to go into work today for any mommies in labor . . . .steph
Quote from beary-nicehi beary! i am soooooooo looking forward to having a place of my own again with a nice comfy bed and pillows to fall into. ahhhh....i can feel it now, and it feels soooooooooo good! makes me wanna monkey dance with ya! have a great weekend!............well, gonna wrap up friday here. think i'll rip the plastic off my peds text and begin reading for monday. then, i think those new pillows on the bed are calling me....
Quote from thecommuterhi commuter! as you can see, i'm still catchin' up on both friday and today! have a good day...whatever you're up to today! :spin:where i live, we have another 3.5 hours until saturday officially arrives. however, i might as well get my first post in here early.
Quote from bethinawww bethin! hope you got a good night's sleep, and that headache was gone before you went into work today. :flowersfo................have to work tomorrow so no fun for me tonight. didn't get what i planned to do today. i woke up with a bad tension headache and just bummed around today. never got out of my pj's. took a shower and just changed into different ones...................
Quote from earle58hi leslie! i luv those type of jammy days, too....i'll pass on the unshaved legs though. i wear cotton footies at night instead of socks. they serve the same purpose. have a great day today! :icon_hug:i looooooooooove those jammy type of days, bethy. flannel lowrise pants, big and baggy; unshaved legs; johnson's baby lotion slathered allover- i'm in heaven. oh. and cotton socks. never go anywhere w/o my cotton socks.
Quote from rn2be_njhowdy rn2be_nj - sounds like you've got a full plate of activities for the weekend! hope you have a great and safe time of it!............................heading to my parents tomorrow morning - my sister and i are taking my dad to chadd's ford winery and then we will meet up with my mom and niece (who are having a nana / niece shopping day) for dinner. i'm then heading to a former college roomies house for a girls evening (maybe stay all night if i have a glass of wine or two). i hope you all have a good night / day wherever you are and with whatever you have to do. cheers!
Quote from dianahbrrrr!!! it's suppose to be around 70 degrees here today! :spin:...............windy, and 48 degrees but feels a lot colder d/t wind chill. yeah, i know, "you should be here, with our 30 degree temps," lol! stay warm, you in cooler areas!................
Quote from bethinrest your body and your mind today woman. :icon_hug: listen to some relaxation music with some candles burning. my dds half brother is just eighteen, and he has crohn's disease, too. i pray for your healing, as i pray for his healing, too. i've had patients with crohn's before, and the majority of them were in their twenties, and college students........................i'm having issues with crohn's again so i called in...................
Quote from walkingrockhi walkingrock! my body suffers with diverticulosis, and i'm lactose intolerant as well. i hear that those who are lactose intolerant are "normal". it's the ones who are not lactose intolerant that are "abnormal" because it is not normal for human beings bodies to digest cowmilk proteins and enzymes. i read that in an article awhile back. human milk for human beings...cows milk for cow-beings. so...does that make ya feel more "normal" in that respect? it does me!i can relate! don't have crohn's, but do have irritable bowel and fibromyalgia, and lactose intolerance................
bb in a minute or so to finish up....gotta phone call. :spin:
Jan 6, '07I envy all of you still in your flannels or just slipping into them. I've got to take a shower now and slip out of mine. Poooo--so comfy.
Jan 6, '07Fun... what a wonderful time you all had! Loved the pics, too. Thanx for sharing.
Don... have a grand time vacating! Lucky you. Enjoy every moment. Did you say where you are going?
rninme.. congrats are in order... keep it up! I'm considering a script for Chantix.. I have a patient for whom this a worked like a charm. He was a 2 pack a day smoker... he's smoked less than one pack in three weeks now.
tn.. I think it's great that you took your friend along.. for BOTH of you! It was a good diversion for her and I'm sure you both enjoyed the roadtrip regardless of the miserable weather!
Tweetums... do I see a graduation robe and cap???
Are your studies finally drawing to a close???? Are you really getting ready to graduate??? Wow. Where DID the time go?
Jan 6, '07Quote from tnbutterflyBe lazy.So miss netters.......what are you gonna do with the rest of your day?
Oh.. and did I mention being LAZY?
Yeh.. that, too... lazy, lazy. And lazy some more.
Actually, I have a load of wash going, and I need to clean the bathroom, too. And of course finish up the paperwork from today's post-hospital ROC. Blech. :stone
But after Thursday's 3 measly patients, I made up for it yesterday.. back to seven.. and they were scattered everywhere! Our usual scheduler who knows our routes was out the past 2 days, and another nurse was filling in for her, and everytime she does our schedules, we know it's going to be all out of whack ! We always dread it when our supervisor/scheduler is off or out. Never know where we're going to end up that day! :uhoh21:
But I got through it.
'Cuz I'm GOOD.
DANG good, at that !
Jan 6, '07Quote from suzy253awwwwwwwwwwwww, Suzy... poor thing.I envy all of you still in your flannels or just slipping into them. I've got to take a shower now and slip out of mine. Poooo--so comfy.
We'll try not to rub it in.. as we softly rub our flannels to reassure ourselves we are really NOT WORKING !!! :spin:

Jan 6, '07Renee - Bailey is a girl . . . . My 5 year old told the tech that she is a teenager now, not a kitten. You know those teenage girl cats . . always out on the prowl.
Don - have a great vacation . . . .something must be up with the sleeping thing because dh and I are having terrible trouble getting to sleep or else we fall asleep and then wake up and can't go back to sleep.
Great photos of the kids at Epcot!
Good luck with the not smoking . . . my dh gets so bad when he tries to quit Copenhagen that I want to put him in a cave somewhere for a week or two.
The sun is out - it is cold though - our dog's water bucket was frozen when I took him out of the basement this morning to put him in his kennel.
The vet's office just called . . . .Bailey is ready to be picked up.
later . . . .steph

Jan 6, '07Quote from Don3218Bite your tongue!!! :trout: I love both VDO and Bobby Goren. I hear in real life VDO is considered difficult, but I assure you, I'd have no trouble whatsoever with him... As for Bobby, he marches to the beat of his own drummer. His intelligence is obvious, but he's also strong and passionate and loyal and kind of children and people who are vulnerable... what's not to like? Having a few idiosyncrasies isn't a bad thing at all! ''Normal'' people are boring! Now, ordinarily I wouldn't comment on something like this, especially if it means coming between two women and their man.
