On a lighter note.

  1. OK. I'm getting depressed and.......volatile reading the posts. I have an idea, something not so.........from the drama section at blockbuster..........more from the humor section.

TELL US SOMETHING WORTHLESS ABOUT YOU PEOPLE WOULDNT KNOW FROM KNOWING YOU IN HERE. ANYTHING. IT'LL BE LIKE IN BREAKFAST CLUB, WHEN THEY ALL COMPARE FUNNY THINGS ABOUT THEMSELVES (NERD CAN COOK SPAGETTI ETC...).

    OK, I'll go first.

I play playstation, love baseball games on it (MLB THE SHOW).

eh, thats cheap, I've already admitted that on other posts.

    OK, this one is good.

My screen name comes from a Dungeons and Dragons character I played when I was like.....pffft......14.

I love to play Wii sports bowling. I'll play left and right handed. I can't bowl left handed when I am in the bowling alley, but I do a bang up job on the Wii.

Oh. My wife LOVES Wii. She beats me at Mario Supper Sluggers, Wii Ski, bowling, tennis........and even Mario Cart sometimes.

Oh, nice. Wonder how that started? Me, I have to have a fan, cause I'm so used to the noise, its "White Noise" to me I guess.

Another fan fan here...does that make a bit of sense?!?

My secret thingie: I have to keep my feet and legs IN the bed because I grew up thinking that's where all the monsters live and they'll grab you in your sleep if they can get hold of you. Even at my advanced age <ahem> I still catch myself staying far far away from the edge of the bed.

I know why I use the fan. Seriously. Funny it comes up now, with everyone being put in such depressing situations because of the economy.

When I was young, parents couldnt afford AC. So, to help make up for it a bit they got us the biggest, best fans they could. One each in the room. Mine was a huge round thing that went brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr loud as heck.

Slept with it on so much when we were stationed in CA and Hawaii, I got.....dependent on it.

Hey, theres another factiod...........I lived in Hawaii for 3 years. I was a teen and didnt appreciate a bit of it though. Shame.

Dianah, you're my age...we call it hot flashing

On a serious note, I've never been so hot natured in my life!! I keep the heat set on 66 downstairs and 62 upstairs. And I've been known to open the bedroom window to boot! Unfortunately since I had my lymph nodes removed during my bilat mastectomy last March I can't stand a breeze on my left arm and have to wear sleeves that cover it. I roast most nights :imbar

We were stationed on Kialua Military base. Is that where your hospital was? Like I said, I was a teen, I didnt know stuff like that. Much more important issues like "Superman can beat up Mighty Mouse" to tackle.

oh, another fan/circulating or fresh air fan....
cannot sleep in stagnant room air.
    (here comes another admission...)
that often, i end up sleeping on the couch since hubby and i are not compatible sleeping together during the cold weather.
he loves hot, still air and i need cool, circulating air.
so i end up going downstairs and crank the ceiling fan on high.
    i get easily suffocated.

and di, my feet never get sweaty or even hot.
    never.
    maybe it's the cotton?

    Have tried cotton.
Wearing socks at night, in bed, just makes me feel claustrophobic.
