In your own back yard - page 4

I was thinking it'd be fun to see where we all are sending all these thoughts from. This isn't right here, but at my friend's house the next town over. She was quick enough to catch this intruder... Read More

Not much activity in our back yard. Just the dog and his poo...and a almost veggie garden three years in the making. Boxed off, but no veggies.

But our front yard...beautiful! I'll post a pic when Dave decides to let me use the digital camera or when the lillies open. Whichever comes first? (I'm betting on the lillies.)

Its nice to see what everone does with their backyards!

Okay, people, get ready to be WOW-ed. This is my garden. It's a work in progress, of course, and the photos just simply don't do it justice, but with a little imagination, you can see why I'm so proud to show it off.

And, because tht leaves much to be desired, I'm posting my parent's new house in sunny Florida (they built it and are moving in in a month). Because it's my house by proxy, and it's better than my crispy-fried plant. But only a little better.

Their yard is the size of a football field, but it slopes, so you have to stand in it to get the idea. Glad I'm not mowing that!

Facing the back of the house:

See that lone palm tree? My father refuses to cut it down. It's ugly as hell but he said he felt sorry for it. Parents. Whatcha gonna do, right?

I just called my father and told him that I'm going to build a house for us right in back of his for myself and the hubster and block out his lovely view.
