Thank you. And all I've done was quit the compulsive eating, and start eating my big meal in the middle of the day rather than at night. Who knew?
"All" you've done ... sigh... I can change the big meal but the compulsive eating? Esp with these stupid hormones, it's "eat this or kill something" ... sigh...

I honestly think this was a God thing---I went 'off my feed' back in Dec. when I was sick with the cellulitis that attacked my right ear and half my face, and just never got my appetite back. I mean, I get hungry and everything, but I lost interest in recreational eating.........I just couldn't figure out any more why I even did that, it just seemed stupid.

And over the months, the number of foods I used to get really excited about has shrunk, and if I don't really want something, it's not difficult to refuse it. Right now I'm on a no-chocolate kick---ordinarily I like it, but these days I have no trouble whatsoever saying NO to it. I just don't want it. Maybe it's just that I've finally learned how to listen to my body, instead of stuffing it full of junk it doesn't need or want.......?

Good news, folks---I DON'T have a blood clot in my leg. I do have some superficial phlebitis and some horrid varicose veins, but nothing that can't be solved by a little elevation, a hot pack several times a day, and of course continuing to lose weight. HURRAY!!!!!!!!!:hatparty: umpiron:

Hey, maybe we really should form that support group!!

I'll probably step out into the street while going into the hospital for some test or another, and get hit by a bus. Why worry?
    LOL, I NEEDED that!!!!!

Good you went to the Doc. I think it's better to know what your problems are and get your treatment, right?....and this time....in the end....no blood clot! Great! Getting older is not for sissies, I guess. ACK! I should know too....I had a URI that lasted 7 weeks recently! I hate getting older!
