All that long interview was about is why refined carbs and sugar are not good for us.

I think we knew that already.

It was pretty long, but I listened to the whole thing. They did seem to think a lot.....of their own voices.:cheeky:

I am completely and totally sure that when my sister gets here for 4 days in the beginning of Nov., I will hear even more about it from her; she has been after me to give up sugar. I don't know if it was this guy's stuff she read or investigated, but something set her off.:)

Sisters. Ya gotta love 'em.

I do better when I give up refined sugars and flour. Imma doing that now.

I just walked and ran a bit for an hour. I am sweaty and sore, in a good way.

I only weigh myself first thing in the morning, after I pee, and before coffee or getting dressed. It's sometimes just a matter of ounces that I have 'lost', but, you know, I don't really feel that any minute amount like that really counts.

Some days I feel like the size of a refrigerator, and then other days, with no change of the scales numbers, I feel like I'm a trifle thinner. Weird. Body dysmorphic disorder or something like that.

I also have my morning ritual. Get up, use the comode, think thin thoughts and step on the scale. I know I weigh more after coffee and breakfast but at least with this ritual I can track weight loss.

My work gives a discount on insurance if I let them draw labs, take vitals and measurements including weight. I always wish I could weigh like I did in the morning but I'd get counseling and possibly a psych consult.

Haven't ever joined any of those work health benefits that lure you in with the promise of some kind of discount or 'bonus'. I feel like they're trying to control me; I have that "I'm-not-lettin'-anybody-tell-ME-what-to-do!" chip on the shoulder of my brain, and it's a chip with deep roots.

Yes, I can understand that. I just feel I'm getting credit for something I'm already doing.

I'm trying to lose weight, too AND i have big boobs! I have found my people!!!

It's been 30 days, and I have lost 8.6 pounds.

Just watching what I eat, eating more fruits and veggies. I've also been using myfitnesspal too, to log my food intake. I really like to barcode scan things.

I have been overweight for years but have kind of maintained at the same weight. Two years ago this past spring I fell down the steps and broke my ankle, had surgery, the whole works. So I sat and ate, because that's all I could really do. And added another 30 lbs on top of my already overweighty-ness.

I take a dance class once a week (tap and jazz----- JAZZ HANDS!!), and I will be starting the 21 day fix exercise program as soon as it arrives in my mail box.

I am so excited to have found my people!!!

Yea, we are the Boobie Girls here, apparently.

I'm still in. I get weighed in tomorrow but I nailed it.

Yes, I made it easily even with my clogs on. Which I will keep on, as it won't screw me up too bad for next weigh in. I don't want to be at a lower weight until I have to be.
