It is very interesting when these old threads come back up to haunt you...I can remember Boones Farm.....but now in my advanced age...I like a little Merlot..a nice glass of Merlot.

For dinner....I have already mentioned it in another thread...with it being 9!!!!!! degrees here and the threat of snow...I think a nice warm cup of chicken tortilla soup with cheese, tortilla strips and a little sour cream on the side.........

Sonya

:beercuphe Okay they didn't have a smilies with a wine glass....someone will have to make one for us wine drinkers in the group.......

The soup sounds very very nice.

Of course, I have my a/c on here. Hotter than blue blazes today. Hate it.

Here ya go, Sonya............ smiliewine.gif

I love a good homemade soup! And today was perfect for it. Siri, girl, you had your A/C on??? We hovered around 30 F all day... snowstorm and all, you know... We got about 7 inches of fine soft powder; we could almost sweep the snow out of the driveway!

As long as we're at the saloon...

More mozzarella!

Hi Sonya!

Shoot, it was in the 70's here today. Miserably humid. Hard-to-breathe weather. Yuck.

Snow? O.k., I give. What's that look like????

Just save it to your pic folder. Can upload to photobucket and then copy the URL to post in your posts.

Oh, yes ma'am, it's cold!

I'll take some new photos tomorrow. That one I just posted is from a couple of years ago. I had just gotten home from my surgery, and Fred was in charge of this stuff. I was standing in the garage and he was "passing through". I do the snowblowing now. We got about twice that much today, but it wasn't the heavy, wet stuff.

Pretty stuff, donster.

Wish we could have a little down this-a-way. Gonna get cold Sunday.

You know, snow isn't bad. It's the ice that I hate. That freezing rain that just makes everything so slick is scary. I love the change in seasons, truly I do, and we just get used to them. But the older I am, the less tolerant of the frigid, biting wind and the ice I become. Winter, to me, is much more pleasant from inside the house! With a fire, a Corona with lime, and mozzarella sticks and marinara...!

Does your area ever get snow?
