Not sure, but he certainly has people like McConnell and Graham kissing his butt.

Plus the most important layers are the rural and not so well off.

They are quite hard to figure out because it doesn't make sense to me.

Are the rural voters the most important layer?

They are the bottom wrung, in a way, the foot soldiers.

Somebody needs to fund all the disinformation that is aimed at the foot soldiers.

Layers of the cult!

Representative Elise Stefanik of New York earned high marks for her questioning of U.S. diplomats on Wednesday, the first day of public impeachment hearings.

Bloomberg View columnist Eli Lake called Stefanik’s questioning “very impressive.” Fox News anchor Bret Baier agreed, as did former Obama administration official Michael McFaul and CNBC’s John Harwood. “None of them has much to work with, but Elise Stefanik is most effective GOP questioner by a wide margin,” Harwood tweeted.

As I've previously stated, these hearings should not be occurring at all until we get answers to three crucial questions the Democrats refuse to ask:

First, what is the full extent of the Democrats' prior coordination with the Whistleblower and who else did the Whistleblower coordinate this effort with?

Second, what is the full extent of Ukraine's election meddling against the Trump campaign?

And third, why did Burisma hire Hunter Biden, what did he do for them, and did his position affect any U.S. government actions under the Obama administration?

David Nunes' opening remarks.  It's almost as if he's forgotten that it's a done deal that impeachment proceedings are underway.  Plus he's deflecting to Biden.

Likewise, they are blind to the blaring signs of corruption surrounding Hunter Biden's well-paid position on the board of a corrupt Ukrainian company while his father served as Vice President and point-man for Ukraine issues in the Obama administration. But the Democrats' media hacks only cared about this issue—briefly—when they were trying to stop Joe Biden from running against Hillary Clinton in 2015.

He also brings up that congress has not approved funding that expired next week including funding for the beloved military.  Can't wait for next week and them blaming it on the Democrats.

Gotta keep those conspiracy theories alive.

And the release of the transcript, of the initial Zelensky call, only served to prove that Trump wasn't really that interested in corruption in Ukraine, among other things.

It also shows that Zekensky thought Yovanovitch should go and that she favored the previous corrupt president of Ukraine.

Odd, she didn't really address the bribery or corruption of the president at all.  She seems to agree that if the extortion fails that it isn't a crime, perhaps that is why her questions are heralded.

I think at least she's not promoting conspiracy theories and twisting things.

Isn't Trump's behavior today stellar?

Yep.

Keep on intimidating witnesses!

Just another article of Impeachment against the old man.

Fantastic!

Nothing endears you to moderate voters like witness intimidation.

And no, I really don't care about Trumpsters.

I care about moderate voters.

The ones who voted Trumpster Matt Bevin out of office.

😊

That, at least was less embarrassing.

So let me clarify...I thought this article was about today's hearings but it is about Wednesday's instead.

Easy to see why the Schiffster was so reluctant to let Stefanik ask questions.  She very efficiently destroyed the Democrat narrative.
