Likewise, I don't agree with everything Trump does either. And, I also believe that Trump has the peoples best interest at heart.

Let's make this sentence a little more accurate.

And, I also believe that Trump has wealthy white straight male (or subservient to) Christian cis gender peoples' best interests at heart.

At the same time I know that all people are human and will do things in their own best interest also, it is just naïve to think they don' (not cynical, IMO). We pretty much all want the same things, just disagree on how to do it (not that any of us really have a say so anyway).

We do have a say so, Daisy.

It is called voting.

And voting for the candidate who best reflects our values.

I believe Trump only cares about himself and his immediate family.

I have witnessed no evidence to the contrary.

I totally agree with cleaning up the planet. Bring up issues OK, but let's do some research before jumping in and wasting money for what may end up causing more harm than good and/or doing no good at all.

Not just Republicans in bed with coal, Democrats also!

They all do what is best for themselves personally and politically, not what is best for the people.

Great article in yesterday's NY Times, Daisy, about six or seven things the US could be doing NOW to lower carbon emissions.

These things are already being done in other countries, with success, so no need to reinvent the wheel.

These countries include Canada and Norway, just to name the couple that I looked it.

Read the article.

Then ask yourself some hard questions, such as why is the US not participating in these initiatives?

Who is actively standing in the way of improving air quality and staving off climate change.

It's an easy article to read, and I think you might like it.

I learned many things as a journalist, Daisy.

But two items always stick with me, even in my role as nurse.

First, there are three sides to every story: they said/they said and the truth.

Second, follow the money. Sometimes that is as simple as following the garage truck down the highway, and other times, it is a bit more complicated.

But always follow the money.

This might be a portion of why the political status quo and conservatives don't like her very much.

We love her! The more she’s in the spotlight the better.

Here is the part of the video that most of the MSM didn’t show, for obvious reasons.

Gosh, I guess that means that all of those politicians have been straightforward about where their campaign money comes from and how they use it and AIC is just being silly, eh?  There is no Swamp and all the money is out in the open, right?

That's rich in a world where the POTUS violated campaign laws to make hush payments and to conceal valuable donations from the folks at AMI.

How embarrassing for them that we know that Congressional politicians have been either engaged in misuse of public and campaign monies, or willing to ignore it among their peers for years.

You all love AOC, as much as I love DJT engaging in his border wall fear-mongering.

The difference is, dude, while you all are HOPING AOC, sinks Democrats, we know the border wall fear-mongering sunk Republicans in the mid-terms.

No traction at all.

So please, do all you can to encourage DJT to keep lying, on every topic imaginable.

Encourage him to run for a second term.

Tell him coal is a good issue for him to run on.

Discourage all moderate Republicans from challenging him.

And by all means, keep up the drum beat on Socialism.

It plays so well, only to the base, whose numbers have been shrinking.

I am counting on you, dude. I hope you are up for the challenge.

😉

You know who I love?

Nancy Pelosi.

She is tough as nails, and smart as can be.

I love watching her spank DJT, in public, nearly daily.

She is absolutely wonderful. Glad to have her on our side.

You probably remember I didn't like the idea of her coming to power again and wanted someone new and younger without baggage.

I'm proven wrong and am really glad she got it.

I remember.

I was more on the fence.

But her experience is invaluable. And again, she is tough as nails.

I think AOC is proving to be pretty tough too, and I think that has surprised the opposition.

They thought they could poo-poo her, with comments calling her a girl.

But she can hold her own and then some.
