I still haven't decided what I think of her or her performance so far. Sheesh, it's only late January!

I agree ... I enjoy her so far, but we still haven’t seen the steak beneath the sizzle. Campaigning and governing are totally different jobs.

I disagree with the ego comment.

She certainly hasn't declared herself a "stable genius" like DJT, and dude has no problem with the latter's ego.

As for having fans, I like her because she stands up for herself. Again, it is refreshing.

I imagine the right wing nuts are having fits over her because again, she slaps them back.

If that makes me a "fan" in some folks eyes, so be it. But I not a loyalist, like Trumpsters.

A young woman, with fresh ideas, who isn't afraid to speak her mind, who isn't fear mongering and spreading hate is welcome in my world.

I'm a fan too actually.

I do think some fans are more adoring than me, on social media people retweet her every tweet, quote her in memes, for me it's a bit tiresome rather than refreshing.  Just like when Justin Trudeau was elected, or the current Pope.  People act like they are Godsends and their poop don't stink.   I know I'm being crotchety about it.

What I don't like is her fans accusing someone like me of being "terrified of her bold new ideas".  They are alienating Democrats, the same way the "Bernie or Bust" people did and that really isn't a good idea.     Actually a good deal of those ideas aren't all that fresh and new.  Sanders and others have come up with them.  But good on her for carrying the torch and not being afraid to voice them.

Sounds like Democrats aren't the only ones afraid of her bold new ideas and now are worried about the cost of things.

It is a wonderful idea.

You understand that it is a resolution. And as such, some of its ideas may find a home, or not.

Maybe you don't like the Green New Deal because Republicans have no plan to combat climate change.

The Republican tank is empty.

Oh, right, Trump didn't mention climate change, or the environment in SOTUS, did he?

Oh, right, he is a climate change denier.

Where did I say I didn’t like it?  Pelosi thinks it’s a wonderful idea, too.  Here’s what she said about it:

She added that the Green New Deal “will be one of several or maybe many suggestions that we receive. The green dream or whatever they call it nobody knows what it is but they’re for it, right?”

To me it sounds like it was written by an eighth grader.

I know what she said about it.

Again, it is a resolution.

Again, Republicans have offered up nothing.

And I know you like middle-schoolers. You voted for the most famous 8th grader of all: DJT.

Wake me up when your side actually acknowledges climate change, okay?

Honestly, comparing Trump's intellect to 8th graders is an insult to 8th graders.

Oh come on Dude, even though the writer says it is written like a school grade wish list I still like the part about being taken care of even though I would be "unwilling" to work. Probably other nurse's would like to quit their stressful jobs and be "unwilling" to work also.

How anybody cannot see this will not work and/or is just a giant power grab for government control is beyond me, yea no socialism here!

Wake me up when the GOP has a plan to tackle climate change.

Oh, right, they have to acknowledge it first.

Better to focus on made up problems that rally the base, like the border "crisis."

When you have nothing in the tank, you can't address reality.
