You are reading page 8 of I see quite alot of tall nurses. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

I see little sillohouetto of a man.

Hahahahahahaha:roflmao:hahahahahaha:roflmao:hahahahahahaha!

You really ARE relentless!

And possibly in the grip of a Queen fixation!

When I had to go to the laundromat years ago, the four tapes I brought with me were the soundtrack of Amadeus, The Best of Merle Haggard, The Best of Queen, and Talking Heads (Burnin' Down the House)

That was back when I was a tall nurse. (just getting back on track w/ the title of this thread)

10 things only tall nurses understand

1. Having to raise the bed up to the sky when you turn a patient or insert a foley or IV. Patients don't understand but my back thanks me!...

Soon enough we'll have to add height to our forever growing list of things we don't discriminate against. All applicants will be considered regardless of height, expression of height in English or Metric units, height identity, height variance, height orientation, or height confusion.

Does that mean I'll be able to get as high as I want to? :woot:

I actually had an MD tell me O was 'only' 5'11.5" I said I was just going by 6' since stating 3/4" shorter sounds silly and as if I am trying to stay in the 5' range. I have had female nurses I am eyeball to eyeball with proudly tell me they are 5'7". I never.say anything to.them. Glad dad encouraged me not to be insecure but it would be nice if pink/purple scrubs came in 36" inseam *sigh*

Actually, I'm average height. It's just that those Danskos give me an extra 6".

"God made me beautiful, but he made me short" is one of my mantras.

I also like to say "I'm 4 foot, 13 inches". Makes people stop with a crazy quizzical look on their faces.

I once had a room-mate who was 4' 11" to my 5' 8"; of course you know we were referred to as "Mutt and Jeff" (younger posters may need to google this; it was a comic in the Sunday Funnies.) I used to get hysterical with laughter holding her 'Size Impossible' little-bitty shoes next to my size 9 + 1/2's. :roflmao:
