I see quite alot of tall nurses

I get bullied by the tall people at work. They think it's funny to put the ceiling IV polls on the shortest setting so I can't reach it. After watching me struggle a bit they will come in laughing and pat me on the head saying "now now little one" as they lower it back. I now have a fear of giants. I can't even read my kid Jack and the Beanstalk anymore.

Well this is an entirely different kind of nurse bullying than we usually hear about. Care to make a featured post?

I am 6'5". I couldn't blend in if my life depended on it! I know otherwise, but it's pretty much accepted that wherever I go, I'm the tallest. :yes:

I hear ya! When we aren't in the States, we live in Central Asia, where it would seem the average height is about 5'7", men and women alike. We are both 6"+. We were told to try to blend in. We laughed.

Pixierose, we are not vertically challenged at all. We are space efficient. We fit in places where big people can't go.

I would be afraid of retaliation. I might have also just worked too much and then watched the Slender Man documentary and just had a really trippy dream that I projected as a real event. Probably that's more likely. :p :p I probably just made that up too!

We were out for dinner one day and a famous basketball player from the State team was sitting near us...as he stood up to leave, he just kept going...and going...he must have been close to 7' tall. My kiddo, who was about 6 at the time followed his height up with her eyes wide, and her jaw on the floor, and said, "Mommy! He makes me feel like a gummy bear!" :roflmao:
