You are reading page 3 of House Votes To Overturn Obama Rule Restricting Gun Sales To The Severely Mentally Ill. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

Yeah' date=' herring, would you mind clarifying? I don't quite understand either. If toomuchbaloney is right, please give us a link or clear up this for us. (Also, I'm sure you meant to type "she" and not "he").[/quote'] No I will not get bogged down in details of one person's situation. It could go on for pages.

Tell me why it OK to deprive one citizen of voting rights without due process?

Then let's just call this anecdotal. The details here are important, but lacking them there's really nothing to discuss.

I am not advocating taking their right to vote away, but if there are only a few voter fraud cases (as the left wants us to believe) and we are to ignore that, then why not ignore this also.

My original point was that at what point will we realized that not having a birth certificate is no longer true for anybody and start actually demanding proper ID to vote?

Because what you claim is no longer true IS still true.

I will try to find a link to what I heard on the radio after you respond to my answer to your question.

You asked several. Which quesion requires an answer before we can have details about the college student who didn't change their voting registration when they got married?

I concede it is anecdotal. I don't know this person

My question is:

Why it OK to deprive even one citizen of voting rights without due process?

I started another thread to discuss voting rights.

I think the right to vote must not be abridged.

Clearly it is at least as important as the right to own a gun.

I'll try to remember to only discuss voting rights in the correct thread.

Shame on these fools. And how logical is it that 18-year-olds can't legally purchase cigarettes or alcohol, but the will be able to buy guns. This is truly a sick society.

Not "will be" but "are". 18 year olds have always been able to buy guns. Also serve in the military.

I know some folks in the women's and eco movements who are very good divers and might be able to find them for you :whistling:

That would be great! I'm an experienced scuba diver certified in deep water, under ice and rescue diving myself.

Problem is, our boat was over the Mariana trench at the time. Bummer for me.

Speaking of boat accidents, if WA state passes the absurd law proposed by our hack of an AG, we'll be having one of those accidents also...or moving.
