I know, not a big deal; millions do every year, but the struggle to get here was monumental. He saw 4 friends die in the last year, one of a drug over dose, 3 in horrific car accidents and that sent him into a depression and tailspin that jeopardized his even finishing. He was beside himself. Even in the last two months prior to graduation, we were unsure if he would be able to graduate; he was having so many difficulties in one class that was mandatory for graduation. BUT HE DID IT and WITH a 3.0 GPA! I am so proud of him, words can't say. The tears I have right now, blur my words.

Please join me in congratulating my son. The young man who surmounted severe ADD and depression and went on to finish honorably and is now headed to Sacramento, CA to further his education. His future could not look brighter and him mom, could never be prouder! WAY TO GO BRANDON!

If any of you are facebook friends of mine I have some pictures posted there; please feel free to take a look. If you want to be "friended" PM me and I will add you! Thanks for listening to me go on!

FANTASTIC:yeah::yeah:

I remember my youngest not knowing if he would graduate from HS until the day before graduation. Same kinds of thing got in his way. Four years later I attended his college grad, and have lived to see him get an MBA and another masters degree. Brandon must be pretty special to get such a good GPA with all the trauma in his life.

Congratulations to both you and his father. You made it, too.
