You are reading page 3 of Have you EVER or will you EVER date an MD?. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

I've dated a chiropractor does that count? I would always make him crack my neck I loved it!

I went on a few dates recently with a DR of internal medicine, he's such a hunk. We'll see what happens.

I never met one that I was attracted to and they seemed... odd... anyway.

Now, there is this one doc so many of the ladies rave on and on about, but while he is genuinely nice, he looks like he is made out of dough.

Not dough, as in money.

I mean he looks doughy (as in pasty pale and soft) and, while I don't mind a man with a few extra pounds, I can't stand doughy.

And he's sorta weird, too.

Why are docs so weird?

Do their social skills deteriorate during the course of their long and vigorous education, forever to be lacking hence?

Maybe if I met one I actually liked AND was attracted to, but that hasn't ever happened, thus far.

I agree with the bolded. The one I dated had no social skills but I guess I more than made up for it with my perkiness

some of you said you wldnt date MDs. how come tho? lack of social skills? (i agree, some are weird). or lack of time to spend with each other.

also, an older md gave me "elevator eyes" yesterday n kinda stroked my back when i passed by him from behind. oh n there is a male NP on my unit who is such a looker but ive yet to talk to him...for now im content with drooling at him when hes not looking.

This thread has thus far generated all the responses I imagined people perceived about dating MDs. Some MDs are considered weird, some have no social skills, some, well just no words to describe them.....and then there are others out there whom I believe we would consider 'just right'....lol. Thanks for all your responses. Lets keep it coming!

Yes, plain and simple. There are a few cute straight out of MD school doctors in the hospital, and by few I mean 1. She looks like she belongs on the cover of a magazine. Seriously my friend and I, ok 3 friends and I, will start taking the long way around the floor just to see her if shes on shift. I know this sounds childish, but honestly were still in RN school. She is just HOT :redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe!

After wiping poop for 6 hours, you got to have something to brighten up your day. Nothing inappropriate or anything like cats calls while on hospital grounds. That would just be plain rude.

My fiance is a medical student, so that's as close as I have come to dating an MD. :) You have to have a special connection because of the amount of time apart. My fiance has his quirks. And of the other students I have met in his class, they all do. Smart people are generally odd, but in a good way! :)

I dated OB/GYN MD. I was working in that field so no weirdness. After like 6 mos he broke it off to marry nice Jewish girl he had dated prior to me. He was Jewish also. I think I was the last fling sorta relationship.. I really liked him as person/DR so we stayed friends and he delivered my grandson years later. Now that was a funny place to meet up!
