Hi people :)

I slept from 8:30 til now, woke up coughing. It's just a dry cough, the sore throat is pretty much gone. Little pressure in my ears. Saw the dr (J'nette!) the last time for this (after I got over the bronchitis) and she eventually concluded it is allergies and gave me a med. I took one yesterday (it's a 24 hour med) and it did help for the most part. We are experiencing some TERRIBLE pollen right now and also Canada experienced a wild fire. We are getting the smoke from that. You wouldn't think it would get down this far but (shrug) Smoke from Canadian fires blankets NY, New England - Boston.com It's even gotten as far as NY!

Nothing new (that I know of) with my son, as far as I know he's still job hunting. No news is good news I guess!

have a great day, can't think of anything else to say :)

Good Morning!!

Liddle; we have been experiencing that haze of smoke as well ..bizarre.

going to an all day conference on med delegation. not my favoirte thing but it is happening in many schools. I might as well be informed and do it right if i have to do it. My former boss refused . I think i dont have a choice so i will do it right and supervise it diligently.

nice warm weather back again! love it. gearing up to do relay for Life this weekend with my family. hope its a good day for all! :redbeatheMary

how exactly does relay for life work? i hear about it all over fb sometimes and i know a little friend of mine whose family did it, she has leukemia - or had... but anyway - she has a "pay it forward" foundation and this relay for life was part of that...

and, what is med delegation? hope it is not a dry presentation! i have always appreciated going to conferences and classes and inservices and stuff...

have a good one!

Good morning, everyone! It is nasty humid here in Delaware.

I don't have much to say...I'm just sitting here eating veggie "chicken" nuggets and getting ready for bed, since I work @ 1900.

Y'all have a good day/night.

*Jess*

Hey, Zoe, Tweety, Mary and Sabby and all who wander by.

Beautiful weather here now, low 30's in the day and about 22c at night. Put my back out yesterday, picking up a spanner off the floor!!! Am installing a new generator in the shed and after all the huffing and puffing of getting it in, I had to drop a spanner!!!! It'll be right in a day or so, providing I am smart enough to look after it.

Have a lovely day/night all not far off bedtime Michael ZZZZZZZ'S

You could probably see this coming, but what is a spanner?

HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT SLEEP Michael!! and um, aren't you supposed to be watching the over-exertion?

Actually, they do taste a lot like the real thing! Otherwise I probably wouldn't eat them. I only do the vegetarian thing for health reasons, so finding "meatlike" substances is my specialty. :)

I have a t shirt with Gibbs on it and a sampling of his rules. I love, love, LOVE Mark Harmon ;) and yes NCIS is one of my favorites as well. Although I missed the season finale and was quite disappointed.

Thanks for the well wishes! :)

Good morn/eve all.

No big plans for today. I need to work on getting ready for a huge load of mulch due in at the end of the week.

DGD had her first pea out of my garden last night. She declared them to have great taste. I told both grands that the secret of growing peas is that they should never reach the kitchen. They are best when eaten off the vine in the garden. They both will do this I am sure so we may not have any for stir fry and such. That's OK because I plan to eat my fair share in the garden also. I think I am almost done with the lettuce and greens. Once I rip those out I will plant something in it's place. Just not sure what. I put winter squash in after the early lettuce was done. Currently tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and peas in flower. Squash is just a few days away from flowers. I am hoping to have squash blossom tempura as soon as they arrive. Can't wait. Have been eating nasturtiums both flower and leaves in salad lately. Love those spicy leaves.

Anxiously waiting for the start of the World Cup. Have watched a few of the "friendly" matches lately but I want the real thing. Starts 6/11 and should be worth the wait.

Better get to my landscaping work before it gets too hot and humid. Have a great day.
